Booked my first session with a counsellor today after she was recomended by a friend of a friend who's TS, so quite excited.

I hate waiting tho.

Oh by the way, after about 30 feet it is a 60 percent grade.  ;D

Hope it goes well -- therapy can be hit or miss!  It's a big step though, so congrats.

I feel really positive about it, so I think it'll be fine. Tina sounded really friendly over the phone and she was recommended so it feels more exciting than scary. Yay!

Congrats, i'm happy for you!!! Just be honest with her and tell her how you feel. I was scared as hell walking through that door the first time, but it's the 1st step down to a new journey. Keep us posted on how it went, please!!

Well I'm back from my first session. Tina was lovely, it ended up being almost an hour and a half instead of one. feel loads more positive about things...it really helped talking things through and have a clearer idea of how I want to do things.

so yeah, all in all it was good and I'll be seeing Tina again in three weeks. Feels like a massive step having actually done this tho.
