When it comes to cross-dressing, drag queens seem to get all the play. For several decades now, they've been positively mainstreamed: Dame Edna is back on Broadway for a third time, and Portia is a regular on "The Wanda Sykes Show.'' Yet if you try to think of a female-to-male counterpart, the roster is a near-blank: New York's emcee-about-town Murray Hill is about it. Meanwhile, a Mississippi school district has called off this year's prom because one brave young woman announced her intention to wear a tux while escorting her girlfriend.

Queer Soup's multimedia exploration, "We All Will Be Received'' (the title comes from Paul Simon's song "Graceland'') doesn't pretend to encompass the big picture, although it certainly touches on it, in meaningful ways.
