Depends on the manufacturer.  Some are.  I think it is the type of silicone they use.  DIY forms generally are lighter.

Like Janet I have to say that all depends...

But my general feeling is more towards no than yes. If you get decent development (mine are F / G cup now) breast tissue can be VERY heavy.

I have a pair of gold seal Cali girl forms (from a popular online store)  I believe they are a 32DD on me, They weigh about 1 1/2 pound each and they are made of silicon. I like the weigh of them and I think it feels great

I used to wear foam forms.  (They were inexpensive.)  They were considerably lighter than real, home-grown breasts.  I've seen ads for weighted forms, primarily for women who've had one breast removed so that the two sides will weigh about the same.

As I have started growing my own, I find the weight distribution different from wearing forms - they sit on the body differently.  Even if real breasts weigh more, I think you will find that they are more comfortable because of how they attach to the body.  JMHO

halfway through my transition I suddenly went flat so had to go look for help and found some bras with proper gel filled forms in them..very nice look and feel...haven't seen any for a couple of year now...but I splashed out on implants in February 08 so i don't need anything.
