How to transistion from Male to Female (works with even the most Conservative and religious of parents)
(If something has a question mark, that means it is a "danger" stage. These stages must be performed carefully. Also, laser hair surgery can be inserted anywhere after 3.)
Stage 1. Don't shave.
Stage 2. Buy a wig. Wear it. When your parent's say, "Why are you wearing a wig to school? Are you a ->-bleeped-<-? Say "NO! Long hair is simply cool these days."
Stage 3! Paint your nails black. Simply say to your parents that is what all the cool rock and roller goth kids are doing these days.
Stage 4. Wear androgenous clothing.
Stage 5! Wear eyeliner. If your parents say something, just show them a video of your favorite rock hero who wears eyeliner.(Don't show them a singer who is gay or bisexual.)
Stage 6! Wear black lipstick. DO NOT WEAR ANY COLOR OTHER THAN BLACK! It might help if you show them posters of heavy metal bands like Kiss, or Immortal.
Stage 7. Wear "gay" clothing. If your parents ask just say "pink is pimp".
Stage 8. Wear fake boobs. But make sure they are really small and almost unnoticable. If your parents ask just say you have been "working out."
Stage 9! Wear actual women's clothing. Say it's the "in" thing to do. If that deoesn't work, say its for a school play.
Stage 10! Wear regular sized fake boobs. Say it's for the school play, and the reason you have to wear them everyday is because you rehearse everyday for the next 3 months, and you really have to get in charachter. If that doesn't work, say its because you have the class first thing in the morning, and you only feel comfortable putting on the boobs at home (scare them about the men's dressing room.)
Stage 11. Start taking hormones.
Stage 12. Find a gay boyfriend. But arrange it so your parents "accidentally" find you two making out.
Stage 13. Spill your heart out.
Stage 14. SRS.

My parents were pretty relaxed about some things when I was growing up but there is no way they would have let me get away with any of that stuff on your list.
My parents let me get away with the wig and androgenous clothing...very suprising because I put on the wig AFTER they realized I wore makeup. (They did not allow me to wear makeup.)
It is important that you do not shave. In your case, I think you shouldn't shave while wearing eyeliner, that way they will not think you are trying to look girly. Also having Prince posters in your room might help.

I be far more worried about my kids dressing like KISS. At least I'd hope they would have picked a real band, and not just a rock brand.

Presumably, strict parents who won't beat you to a pulp because your voice is not very manly or your laugh sounds like a girl.
But I understand parents today are a little more mature.
Good luck JillEclipse.

Why would your parents care if you shaved? Guys shave there arms/legs/back/chest all the time. Heck, I'm not out to my parents yet and I shave/live at home and they haven't even noticed. (which is funny because I leave my razor and shaving creams in the bathroom on the counter)

I could probably get away with 1-5 until my parents realized what was happening. Then I would get a lecture and they would search my rooms for "feminine" items.

No...I meant deliberately not shaving facial hair. That way when you decide to wear eyeliner for the first time infront of your parents, your parents will at the very least not think you are trying to imitate a girl. They might think you are a fruitcake though. But as silly as it sounds I think parents are more accepting of homosexuals than transsexuals, mainly because the media still shines a negative light on transsexuals more so than homosexuals. By the way your picture looks very attractive, I assumed you were on hormones but I guess not.

This is how I changed my gender
Go live your life. Time to complete 2 years.
- Move away from parents and friends
- Change your name on all your documents (creates the least hassle in the future)
- Get a job (I had a trade which helped me immensely and save all your money)
- Start hormones
- Start removing facial hair
- See specialists as necessary
- Have SRS or GRS
Go live your life. Time to complete 2 years.

Being able to do something real, that people will pay you for, will change your life, no matter what it is, no matter who you are. Poverty sucks.

+1 here been poor most of my life.
I think getting a bit more education may help me, I don't have a job right now, and I really don't want to go back to being a driver anyway (truck or otherwise). Maybe, i'll get into the healthcare industry that seems lucrative...

Holy heck. It's been a long time since I was a teenager, so I guess I've forgotten how hellish it can be to deal with parents at that time. I didn't do all that stuff, but I did get a lot of friction from my dad about growing my hair long. As soon as I moved out it was down to there and curler set in no time.
Try to remember that in your overall life, this is only a short term thing for you. Just as kids struggle during adolescents to become adults, parents struggle to know when to stop treating their kids as children and let them make their own decisions. The best thing you can do is seem consistent and stable to them-- a challenge, for sure, when your having issues about your own gender.
