Title: Packing is so confusing.
Post by: mL on March 20, 2010, 09:29:17 PM
How are you supposed to wear a packer? If I point it down, the bulge is too big. If I make it fit along the side of my underwear, it looks weird. How do bio guys have theirs?

move it dick to either the left or right.  directly down makes the bulge huge

are you using the 3.5 inch?

use a bigger packer.  I hated the feel of the small one, and it stuck out all funny.  I had to rest it up against myself to make it not do so.  Which i feel is dumb.... If you're going to pack shouldn't you have your dick like a real man should and not spread up off your balls and flattened awkwardly to yourself?  I certainly felt so, so I went with the 5.5 inch.

I wear small [well kids... yea I'm tiny] briefs, keep the balls inside, and hang the phallus down straight through the opening [also helps because it bothered me to feel the actual "dickness" against my underparts.]  I then put on whatever normal underwear I feel like wearing that day and it hangs as it would if I actually had one.  If I'm wearing boxers it hangs down.  If I'm wearing briefs it bunches as it would otherwise.

A bigger packer? Oh my!

It depends on what sort of underwear you wear, if it's an STP, if you have a harness, etc. I like to use a thin elastic band with a small loop attached to hold mine in place. The balls are a bit big, but it gives a decent, realistic bulge.

Odd, I really hated the 5.5 inch. The smaller one works better for me.

Now I'm trying to get used to my new Good Vibes packer. It's a bit bigger than the 3.5 inch, and its texture is different. The bulge doesn't look quite right, and it rides kinda funny. Obviously, I haven't quite figured the thing out yet.

<TMI>

my stuff is pretty much off to the side and up, I would think a 3.5 inch packie could replicate the same effect as long as it's secure

I also find the whole process annoying. I hassle with it forever trying to get it just so. I've yet to figure things out, but I think a decent harness would do wonders.

Anyone have a suggestion for a GV packer?

You mean a good harness? I'm having moderate success with TranzWear. I like the ones with the C-ring, but it's a bit of a tight fit for the smallest Good Vibes packer. Not to mention that if I wore tighter pants (or sheerer material), it would definitely look like I have a permanent semi-hardon.

I have a 3.5" and wear it against my skin and wear to the right. Almost all bioguys wear to a certain side so I think that would help you alot mL. Mine stays in place well but I wear briefs. If you wear boxers you'll need a harness of some type.

I was just wondering about this. Anybody know which side is most common - right or left?

bio guys wear it to the opposite side of their dominant hand, so left if you are right hand and vice versa. (so that its easier to grab when you pull it out to piss)

I dress left and always have. I understand that dressing left is much more common, at least in the U.S., than dressing right. Could be related to handedness, but I've never seen studies.

I do not know, but my hypothesis is that dressing left is more common because all the briefs/boxer briefs I have ever seen have the front opening for righties (in other words, it is such that the opening is on the right on the outside and on the left inside, thus it is easier to use your right hand to grab and to keep your junk on the left).  Has anybody here ever seen "lefty" underwear?  I actually am really curious about such a thing.

I don't think I've ever seen "lefty" underwear, but I have seen underwear meant to take away from all the hassle. They were briefs with a "kangaroo" pouch. So you reached down into it like a pocket and could just pull your junk out that way.

They were quite convenient looking things.  :)

There, there.

I thought I was the only one who knew about that underwear. I wanted to buy a pair, but I'm right-handed.

I just got a 5" last night. I'm using the method my drag dad showed me. He uses what he calls a "cock sock". He takes a small sock, cuts a hole in the front for the penis to hang through, then puts it in the sock, keeps the balls inside, so it sort of just hangs there. Then he pins the sock to his underwear, or has even gone as far as hot gluing velcro to the sock and his underwear, and velcroing it in place. Just make sure if you pin the sock to your underwear, you pin outward from you so you don't hurt yourself incase of a safety pin malfunction. I've worn this packer for less than a day now and it's amazing, feels real, natural, hangs to the left btw...I'm right handed. I no longer have to fight through two layers of briefs and a giant sock with a condom filled with gel, etc...just to piss. Getting to wear just boxers and keep my package in place at the same time feels so freeeeeeeeee! If anyone wants, I can link you to the video where my drag dad explains the cock sock and stuff.

It tends to look kinda big in tight pants, but in that case tight briefs work well, or simply pushing the packer down a little so it sort of hides in your crotch and doesn't stick out as much. But all in all it's great :)

^^There should be the video about packing and the cock sock....if you cut off the last jibberish after OHtranskingz...that's a channel that my drag dad formed with trans kings and there's a new topic every week about a different subject related to being trans and transitioning. It's really awesome. There are other videos...under the week 2 videos...they're all about pissing and packing.

Just a few hours ago I made myself The World's Simplest Harness, and am happily wearing that with my condom/gel packer, and the briefs I used to wear over knickers just to keep the damn thing in place. It'll be boxers after that - I need the front opening, which the briefs don't have - but it already feels so much better. And the Lastin is barely noticeable, even when sitting down.

I just hope the Pink Limpy gets restocked by one of the two UK sites that sell it soon, so I can make myself a proper STP packer - the Shewee's a PITA but it'll have to do for now :-\

Yep, that's right. I'm ambidextrous but prefer using my left hand, so shifting and stuff is done left handed.

I swear my STP does sumersaults in my pants! Darn thing just won't stay put! I've got DJ's 5'5...and it's flipped itself in all sorts of directions just by walking. I actually don't wear it anymore because of that. I've found it upside down, backwards, hanging the wrong way...oy. The tubing seems to make it want to just stand out straight which makes me look semi hard....which isn't quite the look I'm going for!! lol.

And I wear breifs...

Have you tried a smaller size? That might help.

I haven't. A new packer isn't exactly in the "budget" right now. We've got two people in our household transitioning at the same time!! Thanks be to any Gods that'll hear...our hormones are covered by our insurances. So at least we don't have to spend on that! I digress though...

I've been using a 2 in one packer, one that you can use to penetrate as well as pack. I guess it's a bit too stiff and long to pack... I think it's more than 5 inches. Even when I stick it through the hole of my briefs and let it hang and then wear boxers over it, it's still too big.

If you're going to pack shouldn't you have your dick like a real man should and not spread up off your balls and flattened awkwardly to yourself?  I certainly felt so, so I went with the 5.5 inch.

I'm a fairly big dude, and found that the small 3.5" was too small, too awkward etc for me to use.  It would do backflips and would not stay in place at all.  Originally I had the medium and found that to be the best.  I've since switched back to the medium and it works fantastic.  I do the "Australian" shaft (down and under), and found that it works the best with my body shape and clothes.  If I push it to the left/right it seems to stick out more.

If my pants are very tight or unforgiving downtown, I will situate the packy like this:

===================
===================
00000000
00000000
00000000

Not sure what that is called, but basically the shaft goes directly left while the balls hang down.  Met lots of guys who situate it both ways, so don't think it's awkward at all.
