I don't think I want to be on birth control because I think that's just gross and people say you gain weight on it. But my periods suck the first day I'm aching and feeling like im gunna vomit and cramping but if i take ibuprofen im ok, just this weekend I didn't have any at my dad's so i spent all nite fidgeting in pain in bed but I did watch an opera on tv woo.

Like I said in the other thread, not everyone gains weight. I gained a little, but it was just that-- a little.
And honestly, they do make a huge difference in terms of cramps and how long your periods last. They also make your periods perfectly regular. It's a slight inconvenience to have to take them every day (I suggest night, because when I got nausea at first it annoyed me when I took 'em in the mornings). I consider it worth it.
