Title: I think I've just been 'missed'
Post by: S.Heidi on March 29, 2010, 11:33:00 AM
I went to drop off a movie at work today, and on my way home I went to the local 7-11. I picked up a drink for my mom and an orange juice for me. I went to wait in line when an older gentleman (probably in his 50-60s) walked passed me and "S'cuse me miss!"

I wasn't in my feminine clothing. I haven't started full time, but I am working on a slow transition with a goal of possible full time in December. I had small stubble on my chin and upper lip ,but it grows in light and thin. I couldn't shave since the plumber was working in the basement so I didn't want to run any water.

I'm wowed. Taken back. It's such a rush right now.

That's fantastic.  You should have no problem at all once you go full time.

Congratulations! :eusa_dance:  How sweet it is.

Three weeks before I started hormones or dressing as Kate, a neighbor squinted at me and said: "You're going through the change, aren't you?"

It is so nice when people recognize us even before we actually begin.  It sounds to me like you will do very well, Heidi. :)
