Amanda Gonzalez-Andujar was found dead in her New York apartment on March 30, the New York Daily News reports. Her friends gained admittance to her apartment after they had been unable to contact her for several days.
Gonzalez-Andujar, a transgender woman, was found naked on her bed, her apartment ransacked, and her possessions, including a collection of Marilyn Monroe pictures, destroyed, according to witnesses. Her laptop computer was also missing.
