Title: Smooth&Easy Hair Away
Post by: Cindy on April 04, 2010, 01:33:53 AM
Has anyone tried this system? The advert says No 1 hair removal system in USA and Europe.
It sounds too good to be true so it probably is :-\

looks a bit half baked, it's basically the same as extra fine grit sandpaper with a wonky "hair inhibitor" where the real money is likely at.

That's what I was thinking, I've tried something similar called a cutting glove or whatever, was totally US.
The inhibitors don't seem to work on me either :P

Wonder why I've never heard of it then..

Actually I have used it.  And it is just like sanding you arm, leg, whatever.  Shaving works just as good.

And I have started the spearmint tea that Jenny mentioned.  Time will tell.

From what I've heard, similar things *are* popular in Europe, don't know why they claim USA too.  I'm not sure it works for pre-op folks like me with the non-feminine leg hair :(.

I have tried it and like Janet said, it is like sanding yourself with a super-fine grit sandpaper that does nothing but move the hair around. I don't know if you sand hard enough and long enough, building enough friction you may be able to burn some of it off.

Not worth the money/effort. I have taken to using an epilator - more painful, but more effective (don't use on face or other particularly sensitive skin areas).
