ive always passed as male when i go into the womens they flip out and tell me to get out the mens is over there and one time i went into the mens and suprisingly nothing happened. ive thought about using the mens but i cant pee standing up or what if they become suspicus though i doubt they will. I have never been referred to as a female by a stranger and when my mom calls me sis people think she is a freak :laugh: makes me happy

If you're passing consistantly, go for it.  Buy yourself an STP device you can use easily and use it in the stall.  Lots of men pee in the stall.  Or you can even sit down like lots of men do-- just take it easy so you don't make the "whistling" noise female-bodied people make when we pee.

Men don't give two hoots about other blokes in the toilets. Just go in, either use an stp or use the stall. No one will care/notice if your wazzing sounds different because you're sitting down.

Go ahead and use the men's. Nobody will be suspicious. The only problem you might encounter with strangers is in men's rooms that have had the stall doors removed - I recommend just finding another bathroom if you encounter one of those.

The only issue I've ever had with using a men's room was when I was out with a friend, who I'm out to, but only quite recently. I went to take a piss, and heard someone walk in and start using the urinal. I wasn't really concerned - it happens all the time and nobody bothers me - so I didn't look to see who it was, I just finished up and went to the sink to wash my hands. At which time I heard myself being addressed (loudly, in a shocked tone of voice) by the female name this friend knows me by. He was using the urinal right next to the sink and I hadn't even noticed. He quickly apologized and said "it's fine, it's fine" and thankfully there was nobody else in the bathroom, but I just about panicked for a second.

Moral of the story: don't use men's rooms when you're out with people who know you as female without warning them first.

I agree. If you are passing, just use the mens room. It can be a little intimidating at first, feel rather "forbidden" if you will but you should be fine. Men generally don't want to pay too much attention to others in the bathroom as it can be perceived as "strange" to others.

Just use the stall if you are not using a stp yet. I have learned over the years that many men also sit to pee and some of their mothers actually require them to do it when they are small so they won't pee all over the bathroom floor, toilet, etc.

I think the whistling sound that was referred to is the sound it can sometimes make when a female urinates as the stream passes through the fleshy parts of the anatomy. Correct me if I am wrong.

I have absolutely no idea what 'whistling' you could possibly be referring to.

Well, not everyone's junk ends up being the same, so I'd imagine.

I thought it was crazy, too, the first time I read about it.  But ever since then every time I piss I can hear it and it annoys the heck out of me.  It's most noticable when you're peeing hard and fast and less noticable when you take it easy, which is what I try to do.  It's not really a whistle like from your mouth or anything, more of that loud pssssssssssssssssssssssss sound that men don't really get.

Haha, i seriously thought you meant like the kind of whistling you can produce with your mouth. Lol. But now that i think about it, there is that sound there that men don't have.

Because of where the penis is positioned most of the time when guys pee while sitting down it hits the front of the toilet and kind of trickles down instead of splashing straight into the water.

Yeah. It sounds different when a guy vs. a female bodied person pees. I'm very self conscious of it myself. I have an stp, and I highly recommend it. Making one out of a turkey baster or funnel isn't hard at all, and paid off for me. It still makes me all giddy inside even these days, to walk up to a urinal, whip out my stp and take a normal leak like other guys. But really, if you pee slow, it'll be fine. No one is really judging the sound.

About using the men's room...just strut in like you belong in there like any other guy. I think half the challenge of passing is how you hold yourself, how confident you act. If you act confident, people tend not to question you. It eminates in the energy you give off, your posture, etc.

Also trust me no dude is listening to tyour whiz. They want to get out as fast as possible, with as little social contact as possible.

Well, um...this might be TMI, but I always hit the porcelain unless I'm just dripping slowly, thought that was normal. Maybe that's why I don't hear the sound of it coming out? (shrug) never paid that close attention to the sound of people pissing, I guess. I doubt anyone does but us.

And honestly, there are a lot of things I wouldn't have paid attention to up until now... and that's mostly due to people analyzing this stuff into the ground.

People really don't pay a lot of attention to things like this.

Even though most guys won't be listening to you pee, if someone might be questioning whether you belong in there or not and they hear "odd peeing noises" from your stall that might make them question you. Not trying to scare any guys out there, but there are guys who would get upset and possibly physical if- in their ignorant eyes- a "girl" was in there.

IMO it's better to be safe than sorry when using the toilets. Of course where you're at depends alot too. There are just some crazy, transphobic guys out there itching for a fight.
