'Ello All,
Long time lurker here, but never really thought I had much to say, so never signed up.
I'm pretty old now, 65+, and no longer actively cross-dressing, though I remember it quite fondly, and very often. ;D
I sure wish the internet and its associated resources had been available back in 1956 or whenever it was that I discovered this side of myself, things would have turned out very differently.
Regards

Hi Robyn, :icon_wave:
Welcome to our little family. Over 4400 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion.
Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams. Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.
But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another sister. :icon_hug:
And be sure to check out these links ( MUST READS )
Age is only a means of tracking time from your birth. I am 56 and in transition. There are others that are older and in various stages.
Hugs and Love,
Janet

Welcome to Susan's, Robyn. :icon_flower:
There's a lot of good information and good people here. Each of our stories is unique but we have a lot in common. Settle in, pull up a keyboard, and explore.
We are about the same age. I was 9 when news came out of Christine Jorgensen. I was 23 when the word "transsexual" first appeared in print. I was 26 when the first "sex-change" operation happened in the US. It was a different time.
I started transition at age 65 after finally coming out to my friends as a genderqueer cross-dresser. I've been very lucky, but it has still taken me all this time to finally become who I am.
Welcome to the forum and happy exploring. :icon_wave:

Thanks for the welcome.
I didn't mean to imply that I'd quit the dressing due to my age; there were many factors, but age wasn't one of them.
And now, where I live, pretty much everyone wears jeans or sweats, pretty unexciting attire.

Hi Robyn and welcome. I'm a late bloomer, having started crossdressing nearly five years ago at age fifty-six (I'm 61 now). Today I am a transgender woman who is very happy, complete, and liberated.
