Things are proceeding apace FANTASTICALLY even after just four months on HRT to this very day! Wahoo! I'm so excited!
I'll be brief, but I just had to check in with this great news. I hope that those of you who are just beginning your HRT have the same kind of wonderful experience with your treatment as I am having with mine!
The greatest thing of all about being on the HRT (I'm a MTF) is that everything is basically beautiful ... in a very mellow but very dramatic way. Sure, I still have problems and challenges in life just like the rest of you do. The thing is, though, that they just don't bother me very much or for very long.
Everything is better! It really is! Just three weeks ago when I saw my gender counselor, I asked her, "Are you SURE this is legal?" She laughed. It's THAT good!
Finally, the physical changes are profound and dramatic even just four months into HRT! I did not think they would be, given my age and all, but they are! Wahoo! Though I love the physical changes, the psychological changes are far and away the best thing about being on HRT!
I plan to do my legal name change this December and go fulltime thereabouts or maybe sooner. I'm moreorless decided on Dr. Marci Bowers of Trinidad, Colorado to do my GRS.
Wishing ALL of you well on YOUR HRT as well! To my trans-brothers: Trans-men, I hope you're doing as well on your androgen as I am on my estradiol!
