Just thought I'd properly introduce myself before I started posting around here. The name's Nick. I've had the feeling of my body "not matching" ever since I can remember and I started actively doing something about it at around 16. It was easier to handle two years ago with a girlfriend. Eighteen with a boyfriend now, so I've since stopped binding/presenting as male. I'm "out" to my family, though it's not necessarily acknowledged, and also to my boyfriend. That's the larger part of why I decided to join the forum.
In terms of transitioning I'm not too sure what I'd like to do. I have crossdressed before and passed, and I know I would be happy living as male. I've considered hormone therapy and top surgery, as well as a legal name change (both my birth name and male name are chosen by my parents oddly enough). Bottom surgery is something I'm not too keen on and would look at once I got to that point after hormone therapy/chest reconstruction/etc. and would decide upon then.
Like I mentioned though, I'm not active with any of this right now. My boyfriend is understanding and even accepting of my gender issues but not keen on me doing something about it, understandably so. So it's tricky.
I've lurked around before so I figured it's about time I joined. That said, I look forward to becoming part of the community and getting to know everybody! :)

Eventualy one of the mods or admins will post the rules. You should check them out.
Welcome aboard. It is a good crew around here lots of people to bounce ideas off. You have alot of active FTM peers around here also so that should be helpful.
