Upload a picture to a hosting website such as photobucket.com then get the URL of the image (example: http://examplephotosite.com/myimage.jpg (http://examplephotosite.com/myimage.jpg)) copy that and paste into your message putting the image code around it
Example-
Photobucket also has the location of your image already with the img code around it so you just need to copy and paste that into your post.
Example-
Code Select

Can you type in your img. brackets? Or can you get them only by clicking the thingy that looks like a picture under the B in the posting pain?

Perhaps that's been changed since the rankings were posted back in 2005. I've seen people include images in their first post on the forums.

Quote from: AJinOz on July 21, 2010, 11:52:34 AMHow did I do that? Simply change the s843 to i843 then remove all the ?action=view¤t= stuff so it just has the picture #.jpg at the end ;)

The reason for these changes is because the s indicates slideshow and the i indicates image...
The ?action=view¤t= is removed because it is also part of the slideshow stuff

I'm looking for a new host as I don't like photobucket, I'm currently using tinypic but it's crap because you have to type in a code to upload.
I've used imagehost and imageshack in the past but they don't show images or come up error for some people I show them to for some strange reason.
raarrrr!

@muffin Photobucket has got terrible and slow (I have dial up, it can take 3-7 minutes to load the main page!) and I have since switched to picassa which is a google service so if you already have a g-mail account it is easy to sign up.
Picasa lets you share and upload pictures either from a program on your computer which is pretty cool (at least the Linux version is I haven't used the others) or directly through your browser just like photobucket does.

For those of you who are using photobucket.... Something that makes it easier to post photos...
When you click on a photo in your photobucket gallery you may notice to the left of the pic. is a box that says...
Email & IM
Direct Link
HTML Code
IMG Code
If you click the IMG Code box area it will turn blue then automatically copy the pic. including the [img] brackets and then all you have to do is paste it in your post
Hope that helps :)
