Absolutely nothing.  Mom has been gone for 5 years now.  But I will be calling the women I look up to irl.

When is Mothers day?

It's tomorrow.

Today's Mother's Day didn't go so well with my mom.  She cried because she and my father are splitting, but she's still lying to him and she had me lie to him, but then she was inconsistent on a lie which greatly upset me putting my ass on the line to cover for something stupid.  I threw the mail in the back of the car out of irritation.  She sobbed.  I feel like a grade A jerk.

I'll be sending a belated card or original note.

I'm estranged from my mum, as she stopped speaking to me once I had surgery and went full time.

I wish my kids would think of me on mother's day :-\, but alas, I guess I'll always just be their dad.

I'll probably just exchange "gratz" over the internet messenger program of our choosing... And try not to burn her house down.

I'm broke, so I'm afraid all that I can give is love and spend time with her. I will get her something once I do get money though.

Sent her a card, and going to call her tomorrow.

We've had some major ups and downs, and it would be far easier to just walk away, but she is old now and i could lose her or dad any day now. So I have a relationship with them on MY terms now. And it's mostly ok.

The traditional card, signed by me and my siblings.  I also bought her a similar looking flower pot to one she lost years ago and filled it with her favorite candy.

We drive each other mad, but we always get over it.  Besides, she's had a rough year and my step dad is currently out of the country.  I kinda feel obligated to try and make it better.  Hopefully it'll go well. :)

I'm planning on helping out with the laundry, since my mom hasn't had time to do much house work lately (between working and driving my brother around). Maybe I'll round up the brother-creature and we can do some teamwork-hoursework for Mom~

Nothing to celebrate. I'll be relieved when she's gone, but I don't have anything to do with her anyway.

Excuuse me.  The shoe fits and I wear it well. I am just not good at dates. (not those kind anyway) My daughter used to be my secretary but she moved on. My mother can tell you anyones b day or anniversary and has a christmas list 10 miles long.

Mine is blissfully short long as you don't expect a card at christmas, we are good. You may get a weird card and gift at some off the wall time tho. done that. always hated getting asked why.  Can't just thought of you be good enough reason?

Taking her to dinner.  She also gets a nice gift because it's her birthday too.

Damn, I must be a man then; had no idea it was mother's day until my bf mentioned it to me.  ::)

As long as you don't tell LordKat, I didn't know either ::)

Geez, I don't see how anyone in the U.S. could possibly escape knowing that it's bloody f***ing Mothers' Day. It's all over the radio and the TV, and there are banners and displays in all the stores. Every calendar in the known universe must mention it; even my calendar of nude men notes it. >:(

Not doing anything...she chose to not include me in her life after I came out so I choose to exclude her from mine.

My partner and I did send an "Edible Arrangements" bouquet to her mom.  Unfortunately they put more emphasis on "arrangement" than they do on "edible".  It had to be returned for a refund...either way 'mom' said the thought behind it made her day.
