I have been noticing that when i dilate and go past 3 inches, my vagina starts veering to the right of me. If I go deeper it will go into my right hip bone and when I finish, i feel the sensation moreso on the right of my body instead of the middle. Does anyone else have this happening to them?

When I first started dilating I noticed that the vaginal canal seemed a bit skewed the to left. But over time it's straightened out and now it goes in straight. How long has it been since surgery? Maybe this is what you're experiencing too.

I had my surgery Tues of last week so today is day 9. I didnt notice that with my first dialtion in the office, Well the nurse just stuck it in and held it for a few seconds and took it out. Then she had ME to do it for a few seconds and take it out. So I didnt know what I was feeling. I just started dilation monday. So I probably started noticing it on the next day and NOW, it is REALLY going to the left right to my bone and it is REALLY tight down there. I called the office yesterday and they said, that might be the way my vaginal canal goes. I dont see how ANY female would enjoy and slanted vaginal canal.
Does this sound familiar?

Yeah, I would give it a couple of weeks. You're still very early in the healing process and things are still shifting and solidifying. It's probably just all the swelling and stuff.

I have absolutely zero personal knowledge of this topic..
but isn't it possible to try and "steer" it back a little bit? very gently ofcourse, with the dilation?
Just... a random thought from one of the blokes. :P

I don't think forcing things in any direction is such a good idea. I think Sara is right in that it may just be swelling

I called my endocrinologist today to tell him about how my surgery went and he asked did I have any questions and i brought this topic up and before I could finish the statement he said that "oh baby, that is normal, remember you just had surgery and you are healing, it will get better with time". I just dont want it to HEAL in that direction thats all, but day after day I am not so afraid because when i left trinidad, I felt alone because i didnt know what to expect. I have NEVER seen a vagina in person nor really and illustration so i dont know HOW its supposed to look, function, feel, etc. I finally confided in a female friend who is a nurse and she is helping me out a lot.

I'm happy to hear you are finding support. I'm sure things will be just fine :)

Missy, call Robin at Bowers' office. She is a nurse with lots of TS experience and has been very helpful to me when I've had questions and concerns. Good luck, dear.
