Title: Will estrogen keep my voice from further deepening?
Post by: madisonp on May 31, 2010, 11:10:48 PM
My logic is, because it is quite obvious my voice is not as deep as other males if I were to start HRT now it would keep my voice from gaining any more vibrato :P
Some have said that estrogen actually may cause a slight increase in vocal pitch, I'm a little bit skeptical about that but if it's true I would be beyond excited :D

Anyways, hope someone can help me out, my birthday is in August and I'M DREADING IT D:
Thanks again
Madison

antiandrogens (spiro) or a GnRH antagonist are the only way to halt the effects of biomale puberty.

edit: more generic

It would stop it from getting deeper, but a woman's voice gains vibrato with age.

T blockers will arrest your male puberty.

Maybe your male voice was going to stay like that anyways, but anti androgens would stop it anyways (if or if not).

I am not sure if mine was going to deepen, but it's deep enough lol
