Title: What are your guys' sexual orientations?

Just out of anecdotal observation, is seems to me as if there are more bisexuals and lesbians among the trans women, whereas trans men seem to have about the same proportion of gays and bisexuals as cis men.
Several theories I have is that trans women are more likely to be attracted to women because for some, the male body disgusts them because it reminds them of their own bodies if they're pre-op. Another theory is that the allying of the LGB and T communities makes trans women more likely to be out as bi or lesbian than cis women. This doesn't explain why there doesn't seem to be a higher proportion of gay trans men, though.
Anywho, my sexual orientation is that I am more attracted to androgynous or feminine people than masculine people. In other words, I'm mostly attracted to girls, and if I'm attracted to a guy they tend to have lots of androgynous and/or feminine traits, as opposed to the typical "macho guy".

I have also noticed there are a lot of lesbian and Bi trans women and I havent met a lot of gay trans men. I cant really think of a good explaination.
At the moment my sexual orientation is straight woman though on the inside I am a gay man :)

I would say bi, but I am also just beginning my exploration of who I really am.

I don't think you'll arrive at accurate statistics by polling an online support group. The group attracts a particular demographic. I've met a higher percentage of straight trans men in person than on the site, and I get the impression that there's an even higher percentage overall because the straight guys seldom hang out at the LGBT center, where our meetings are held. That's just in one city, but it's a large city and statistically significant.

Sex, sexuality and gender are 3 different things.
All of which are related.
At any rate, there doesn't seem to be much doubt that rates of homosexuality are WAY higher among the transgender community than the general population.
For me personally, I'm definitely straight.

My life experience has been hetero, but I'm convinced I'm bi. Not really attracted to men, especially not macho men. My main attraction is to booty, and don't really care what equipment is between the legs. Women are usually better in the booty department, especially black and Hispanic women, but I have seen CD/TS and a few men who rank highly in my favorite body part. Yes, minds are more important than physical features, but my sexual orientation(s) depends upon the shape of the booty more than anything.

Well i guess technically believed i was a 'lesbian' growing up, but i was in a relationship with a man once, who was technically gay... Now that i am presenting male, My girlfriend still refers to us as lesbians, and isn't completely accepting of my male gender.. But i'm not very sexual or interested in a proper sexual relationship with either/or gender/sex, yet, As i haven't quite worked things out. I think i am attracted to those who identify as more female or Androgyne.. Although it's who they are on the inside that counts, not their physical appearance.

I'm complicated. ;D
I range from purely straight to lesbian, though I'm normally around bi with a leaning towards men. It pretty much depends on my mood.

Well, you can put me down as one of the doubters, simply because all I see is anecdotal evidence from a community (Susan's) that is in all likelihood demographically skewed and another community (cisgender people) that is still a big unknown.
Look, even the "experts" can't accurately gauge how many cisgender gay and bi people there are. Existing statistics of GLB people are all over the map and inevitably include trans people. And there's still a strong cultural bias against accurately self-reporting non-hetero orientations, even if the survey is anonymous. So you can't reliably use the general stats as a basis for comparison.
