Depends where you go to get it. Have a look at some surgeons websites. The prices vary quite a lot but in many cases you get what you pay for.
Thailand seems to be cheaper than the states even factoring in the flights and accomodation, and their best surgeons are really friken good (well, from the results I have seen they look great).

If you speak to Anne his secretary she can help you out and lower the price down for you.

I think $20K is a reasonable financial goal to set for SRS. There are less expensive alternatives, but you can always change your mind while you are saving.
And if you put that money into an interest bearing account, say 4% interest compounded monthly, with $200/mo you could reach your goal in a little over 7 years.

As has been stated by others, surgical prices vary amongst surgeons,
both domestically and abroad.
Another option to consider if you have fairly decent credit is to take out
a loan or do it through your credit cards.

There is a Thai doctor who will do it for about $11,000 including air fare as I have figured.
