I just want to add I'm very grateful to all the people here who have shared their experiences and knowledge concerning all the many aspects of this surgery and beyond. Susan's has been an invaluable resource in these matters and we are fortunate to have this place to share our stories.

As I'm off on my hols tomorrow (ironically to stay with my old gender therapist in his italian villa) I sadly proabably won't see the updates so i just want to wish you the very best of luck, good healing and a superb outcome!

I just received a text from Chloe. She is doing well but resting. I don't think she feels up to talking just yet and I doubt that she'll be posting anything here for a few days at least. Well, I know she won't because she doesn't have internet access until she gets out of the hospital.

So, I had a little internal bleeding complication after surgery and ended up needing about 6 units of blood, but it was never life threatening just a bit of a slow leak. lol Anyways, I had to spend an extra day in hospital and have simply been too sore to sit at my computer for the last 2 weeks! I'm healing well now and every day is getting better. I can't even describe in words how wonderful it is to finally be whole.
And let me just say that Dr. McGinn is my hero! She brought me through the complications and was right there for me when I needed her, even at 3 o'clock in the morning when I needed a few extra stitches to stop the bleeding. Her expertise and professionalism as well as her compassion and commitment to her patients continues to amaze me. She is one remarkable woman.

Still a little early to tell about results as I'm still a bit swollen and healing. But at the risk of TMI I can tell you that Ms. Clitoris is alive and touchy as hell! geez that area wasn't even that sensitive before surgery lol
Dr. McGinn is wonderful and I'm totally in awe of her. She saw me in her office every day for about 5 days straight, even last Sunday on the holiday, to make sure the healing was going okay and there was no further bleeding complications.
haha Cindy I already have a nice Hello Kitty bikini I'm saving for Curl Curl Beach this Christmas ;)

Still a little early to tell about results as I'm still a bit swollen and healing. But at the risk of TMI I can tell you that Ms. Clitoris is alive and touchy as hell! geez that area wasn't even that sensitive before surgery lol
Dr. McGinn is wonderful and I'm totally in awe of her. She saw me in her office every day for about 5 days straight, even last Sunday on the holiday, to make sure the healing was going okay and there was no further bleeding complications.
haha Cindy I already have a nice Hello Kitty bikini I'm saving for Curl Curl Beach this Christmas ;)
