Hello, members of Susans!
I never know exactly how to properly introduce myself, even though I am no stranger to forums at all. Well, my name is Shawn and I am an 18 year old FTM. I live in central Minnesota with my family. My friends and younger members of my family are aware of my ->-bleeped-<-, but I am still closeted from my parents... even though my mother provides the very definition of 'unconditional love', I've still been scared to tell her. So for the most part, I present as androgynous . Although my mother knows that I am attracted to people of any sex or gender. Yay, pansexuals!
I'm something of a nerd... especially when it comes to horror. I love, love, LOVE horror movies and books. Monsters, urban legends, and scary stories fascinate me immensely. My current obsession is zombies, and am slowly working to boost my zombie merchandise collection.
I hope I fit in well here. :)

Hi Shawn , :icon_wave:
Welcome to our little family. Over 5000 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion.
Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams. Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.
But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another brother. :icon_hug:

*squeals and pounce* I know you! xD (or I'm pretty sure I do, could be wrong. If so, ignore all squealing and pouncing).
Glad to see you here!

Hi Shawn'
Always nice to welcome a new brother. I have to admit I get scared of horror stuff. When I was pretending to be a guy I ran out of the cinema in tears when watching the Exorcist (yes I'm old ) didn't go down well with the boys I was with, I think they thought I was strange ::)

Welcome, Shawn!
We're always glad to have a brother join us. Sounds like your mom is very cool. That's a very good thing.
Nothing wrong with being a nerd. Being smart is very cool. You like horror flicks?
You're young and may or may not know about classic horror actors/movies. Check out anything starring or co-starring Boris Karloff, Bela Lugosi, Lon Cheney Senior, Lon Cheney Junior and Vincent Price.
Many of their movies were done in the 1930s and 1940s. If you've never seen these movies (Frankenstein ... Dracula ... Hunch Back of Notre Dame ...) from the 1930s, you'll totally get into them. Also, check out the original King Kong movie (1933). There's also a movie called "The Haunting" which is just visual and sound effects ... but NO monsters or anything. A masterpiece. Just ideas for ya.
Rock on, man! Welcome to Susan's.
