Title: Decded I Want a Sex Change Need Somebody to talk to
Post by: Anonymous on June 28, 2010, 01:53:52 PM
I am like 90% sure I want to. But I have like tons of time to make sure because it will take me some time to save up the money...cuz I am all poor like. :D

In the mean time I really want to converse whith some transexuals...because I still kindo of have some questions...even after research.

-First off. I know that on this site is a list of surgeons. It shows the state and their name and such. Can somebody post a link to it? I got lost.
-Do you call a transsexual what they changes to or just a transsexual? What is politically correct?
-In a youtube video of a girl transitioning into a guy she/he (confused about that) said something about body fat going to different places while on the hormones. Does that mean that by taking estrogen I will get more curves(aside from breasts) or is that just a bone structure thing?

Will post more questions when I can think of more. I am sort of out of it today.

I'm sure there's a better list somewhere on the wiki, however this page also contains a lot of useful information that you may want to read through https://www.susans.org/wiki/Gender_reassignment_surgery_%28male-to-female%29#External_links (https://www.susans.org/wiki/Gender_reassignment_surgery_%28male-to-female%29#External_links)

As for what to call someone who is transitioning, it's best to use the pronouns of the gender they identify as. Such as someone who has a female body but identifies as male you would use male pronouns "he, him." So the ftm you mentioned above would be called he. The same applies to someone male bodied but female identified, "she, her." Now when someone is androgyne identified it's a bit more difficult but I won't overwhelm you with information. :P

Hormones will adjust fat distribution so you can get more fat in your hips and butt from hormones. It won't change bone structure but it can definitely help create a more feminine figure.

Of course hormones affect everyone differently so it's very much a "your mileage may vary" sort of thing.

I hope that helps, please feel free to ask more questions and explore things.

That did help. Thank you! :D
I hop that when I do it i get all the curves! I can only hope though...

Ok here's another one!...that I feel weird asking about...
If you got the colioplasty (I believe that is what its called...som much terminology...) when you get turned on do you get wet? Is it lubricated enough for sex? And could somebody tell, by having sex with you, that it is not natural? Like does it feel exactly like an actual vagina?

:/ awkward...
