Title: Invisible Eyebrows - what to do?

I have eyebrows so light that I can barely see them myself. Today I tried applying a light brown eyebrow powder, but the brows are so thin that it doesn't help that much. Any suggestions?

Are you overplucking them?

i'm pretty sure you could get them dyed at a salon. some women do that if their hair color doesn't match their brows.

Well, there are options. I used to know a woman who deliberately had her eyebrows removed, then had new ones tattooed on (not my preference, but...). You can actually buy false eyebrows (some pretty nice looking) that adhere the same way a lace front wig does. These are sold by wig dealers. A number of online sellers, such as International Wigs have them ("NuBrow" is a brand name). I haven't tried this, but I would guess the effect would be the much more realistic. You also might talk to cosmetics expert or a dermatologist. It could be there's some issue causing them to thin out the could be remedied.

Castor oil (also called ricinus oil) might help make your eyebrows thicker. That way make-up can work better. It's actually a laxative, so you shouldn't eat it but just use a clean mascara brush to put it on your eyebrows. It works for some people, but not sure if it works for you. It worked for me, it made the eyebrows thicker and made some of my hairs grow faster.

one trick I use is to find the right eye shadow or brow powder that is your shade.
Use a very fine point brush and dip it into alcohol, and use that to make a paste with the powder. twist it to a point in the powder and gentle draw in individual hairs. You may need more alcohol to thin it out enough.
I usually draw a thin base line for the arch and the some smaller hairs. it will take you a couple of times to get the hang of it but then you will be able to do them quickly.

If you don't want to pencil them every day , I think tattooing is your only option that I know of !
Good Luck !

If there's still hair there but it's just light, brown mascara does the trick.
IMHO, drawn-on eyebrows can look very, very bad if you overdo it.... They've got to be soft and matte.

I was told to gently wet the tip of your mascara wand and gently brush.
