It gets even better.
Page two begins with a question about disabilities. Immediately after this, almost as if a sub-category of the above, appears what for children might be the most personal question of all: "How do you identify your sexual orientation?" The options present a bewildering menu for even the most broad- minded of families: "Heterosexual (straight), Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Transsexual, Queer, Two-spirited, Questioning, and Not Sure."
=============
Trans as a sexual orientation. Shows right there that the idiots did next to zero research on the subject before throwing it onto their survey. I make sure to bring the distinctions between gender, sex, and sexual orientation every time I talk to someone or when I lecture.

Lol, that's like asking "what is your race, please pick one of the following:
a. caucasian
b. asian
c. hispanic
d. african-canadian
e. male
f. female
The writer didn't seem to have much more of a clue than the Toronto school board survey writer.
