Title: E and T levels MTF

Hi all. Today I went to have my prescriptions renewed and, just out of curiousity, I asked the nurse what my hormone levels were currently at. I never really asked in all my years of hrt because, basically, I thought the doctors knew what they were doing and I trusted their judgement. These are the levels she gave me and I'm not sure if these are high, low, ok, not ok, in the normal range, etc. for a MTF
T=3.7pmol/L
E=316pmol/L
Can anyone comment?
Thanks :)
Kristyn

Thanks Pebbles. I went through that before posting, but couldn't make too much sense out of it. I guess I'm more interested as to how my levels compare and contrast to the levels of other MTFs :)

Your T level is a little high, not that bad, just outside the upper end of the female range.
E levels is pretty ok, but a bit low for T level, that would be my interpretation.
Mine last time I checked was T 1.3 pmol/L and E somewhere around 500-600.

That's what I kind of figured all along. Oh well, no sense in worrying about it now seeing as I'm so close to my date anyway. Given that, I'm almost positive that I'll see some significant changes post-op once my hormones get back on track. We'll see what my post-op blood work brings about in about three months.

I'm not sure if in UK we use the same measures but last week my T was practically zero and my E was 280 so we agreed to keep my dosage the same for another six months.

I wouldn't worry to much now about the levels being close to surgery as you will most likely be stopping meds soon anyway and your levels will be all over the place. Things will sort themselves out later on when you go back on E.
