Title: Day before your shot depression
Post by: Squirrel698 on August 03, 2010, 05:42:53 PM
I'm usually an upbeat person.  At least I do my best to be as I believe happiness is a choice.  However the day before my injection I get so down and depressed that I can barely function.  It's amazing really.  I can't even pinpoint what I am so upset about just filled with aching sadness.  I know after I do my T tomorrow I'll feel better.  Just wish I didn't have to go through this.

Any advice?  Anyone else dealing with this?  I am doing the bi-weekly injection.  :'(

I tend to get a bit irritable and lethargic a couple of days before my shot.
Highs and troughs are a part of injectables. You don't get them with gel.
Maybe speak to your doctor about having your injections closer together?

Thanks doll.  I'm going to meet with my doctor next week.  Fingers crossed that he'll change my schedule.

Hormones are tricky things aren't they?

I mentioned this to my doc and he moved my shots to every 10 days. Since then I feel great, don't get lows.

Wow very cool, thanks Zombie.  I really hope it will help.  No good in losing two days a month to depression.

I want to get out there and live life
