That Paris Hilton wears size 11 shoes?

Now I don't feel so bad  :)

Lots of women wear size 11s!  Well, not lots, but there's a fair amount.  My mom wears size 11s and I'm a size 10 to a 10.5, depending on style.  As long as you don't have narrow and size 11s, that makes finding shoes really hard (just ask my mom).

Wow, I feel better about my size 10's!

I was speaking with one of the sales clerks at Browns Shoes and she says see is seeing more and more people--especially young teens coming in for size 11 shoes and boots.  Myself I'm both size 10 and 11, it all depends on the shoe/boot really.  I'm actually starting to order online now--buy two pairs, one size 10 the other 11 and return whichever doesn't fit.  It's just too much of a hassle running around to buy shoes now--It's an all day, sometimes all weekend event.  Not very much fun.   :(

I actually saw her here in Toronto promoting her fragrance when it came out--I never really noticed her feet.  Perhaps next time I'll have to check hers out.

I might have to try shopping online.  Since I had surgery on my toes it's unbelievably hard for me to find shoes that are comfortable.

(P.S. I'm 5'10" with feet that vary from 10 to 11 :D )

That's why my reply wasn't said meanly.  I don't take offense and I doubt my mom would, too.  She's got a good humor.

Paris Hilton also rubs me the wrong way, but most of the girls coming out of Hollywood rub me the wrong way.

It's Kate Winslet I look to for flattering clothing cuts too - that's amazing to hear!

I do enjoy the fact places like Long Tall Sally cater for UK sizes 9-11, but I have to say, the range of choice in the US is so much wider. Quite often I've found a darling ankle boot in a 12E (I crave this style), only to find the seller doesn't ship internationally. :(

Why, where and how does that become her responsibility?  Is it only because she has all that money?  If she were dirt poor it would make it OK?  Isn't it really true that only we can free ourselves: emancipate yourself from mental slavery, none but ourselves can free our minds.  I fail to see where it's the personal responsibility of Paris Hilton to do anything about empowering young girls.

And hey, in the end the book of Really Rich People Who Were Excellent Role Models In Real Life, is of course, a pretty thin volume.

I have a pair of sandals and a pair of glads from Long Tall Sally.  Love the ankle boots too!  You could try Steve Madden, they carry larger sizes.  As well, I've noticed that Steve Maddens sizes are on the larger size, so you may be able to get away with an 11.  I have a western style boot with cuban heel from Steve Madden in a 10 and they fit loose!

Also, you may want to try Zappos.com  I just ordered a pair of casual shoes for my trip to Montreal today as a matter of fact.  They have a 5-10 day delivery window and what seems to be a pretty good return policy.

My daughter is 5'8" and wears a size 11 shoe.  We resort to mail order unless she's buying sneakers, usually from the men's department.  Lucky for me she leans more towards dressing androgynously than ultra-feminine.  And I thank my lucky stars she's not overly into shoes!!

Apparently, but I think only a fool who has known neither would do it.  In reality the two have little to nothing in common.  In some ways it's apparent why, and in other ways it's almost implicit.

Size 11??? that does sort of make me feel a bit better about my pedal extremeties.

Having actually checked my size chart.. I'm a 13E when measured to the American standard - 11 UK. Balls - there goes my feeling of belonging. :P

Cool tidbit.  I always liked Paris Hilton.  Don't ask me why, because I really don't know.  I just like her.  In fact, I've got 4 of her fragrances here at home.  They're actually quite nice.  I take a women's 10-11 depending on the manufacturer.  I'm 5'9" of slight-to-medium build.
