Three years ago, Saugus resident Ashley Bottoms founded the Sisters Family, a social club with the purpose of giving transgender individuals a place to gather and feel accepted, safe and free from discrimination. But last Monday, Sisters Family met at Peabody City Hall to address a serious issue: an incident of alleged discrimination that occurred at a Peabody restaurant in January.
