Some of you may have noticed in my signature is a link to a new blog I made. This was sort of in response to reading some of the crap on dirt's blog. I wanted a place on blogspot where transguys could share their stories and show more positive examples of being ftm.

I'm trying to get a team of guys together to blog on this so there are several points of view and stories. As said in my signature if you'd like to be an author on the blog please PM me. If not you can always just check out the blog and read what's posted. :)

I used to have a blog documenting all the hilarious stuff that happened to me for being trans....I forgot about it. Everyone loved it, I may have to start back up again

Edit: Also, the top banner on the site looks way too much like it says "Fem Pride" because of the font :D

Since I'm getting some interested parties in joining the FTM Pride Author Team who have had some questions about what it'd entail I figured I'd post some of that stuff here incase others are curious.

1. Will there be prompts do I have to write on a specific subject?
No I will not make participants write on assignment. I may come up with prompts if I think of something that would be neat to get different perspectives on, but whether or not you participate in those is completely up to you. If you want to write about something else that pertains to the subject of the blog (FTMs), then go for it!

2. Is there a posting schedule?
No, not at this point. There is a small group of writers and readers right now and we're gonna have time to sort of get our sea legs. I want to get several perspectives and stories so if you need to work longer on your posts, or post irregularly then that's fine with me. If we get alot of authors I may introduce a schedule just to keep from people tripping over each other while posting, but that's probably quite a ways down the road if it comes to that.

4. How do I participate?
You will need to make (if you do not already have) a blogger account. I will need you to send me your email address so that I can invite you to join as an author. Once you accept the invitation you will be ready to start blogging. 8)

5. Do I have to be a literary genius to participate?
No, you don't need to be a college graduate in writing and English. But I do have certain standards. At the very least run your blog through spell check to take care of typos. For the love of God don't type in n3t speek 0r l33t speek. It is annoying and hard to read.

6. I have more questions!

Great idea Osiris! I have just started a MtF blog there, MtF Crossroads... you're right, we need a stronger presence to combat the ignorance, hate, misinformation, and defamation of our people by Dirt and others like him.

You need to sign up to blogger in order to post on the blog, you should be able to sign up with your google account. You don't need to create your own blog for it to work, but you do need a blogger account.

I'd love to participate, I'm just worried about being totally un-inspired and not coming up with anything to write!  So I'm starting to like the prompt idea. :P

Nice idea man.  There's no need to fight hate with hate, making a positive blog about us is a much better solution.  ;D
