As dilating has to take such a big part of post-op life and is esential to keep a good new vagina can I ask a silly question and ask: what about leaving those love eggs/dildo things inside when at work?
Now I am not a porn fan and I've never bought any or known any girls that confessed to having them but from working with men for many years I know they are fascinated with all sorts of sex things and it seems that GGs can stick love eggs in and leave them in most of the day? I do remember reading women magazines where they were discussed and some girls said they left theirs in all day - and had a smile on their face the whole time.
So what would it be like for a newly post-op (I could be post-op before long as the suregon told me that he could do mine as early as September but I doubt if funding will be approved much before Xmas) to use some sort of love egg or dildo and leave it in for several hours at a time?
Obviously it woud be risky and painful and perhaps encourage infection to use one of the supllied stents and have it sticking out but a well cleaned love egg might sit inside for hours.

unless you're self lubricating you might have a hard time getting them back out. I've heard girls hear say they've fallen asleep with a dilator in and it was very difficult to remove afterwards. I have a hard time getting the largest one out if I don't use a whole lot of lube to start with, and that means it's very messy. It just doesn't sound like it would be a very practical thing to do.

I've done it on the odd occasion mainly when I was younger :embarrassed: (and yes I am moderately self lube otherwise I agree it could be a problem). Without revealing way to much information I have both the ball type which just jiggle as you walk, and the powered type. In the right setting they can indeed be good fun.
My only comment is that work is certainly not the place. Such a thing sounds more fun than it actually is, as there comes a realisation that you are at work to be professional, and such an ongoing distraction is simply non appropriate. (and believe me it WAS a distraction)
As regards doing it newly postop that would definitely NOT be a good idea. Your new skin would still be too delicate. Also when you sit your internals move around a fair bit and the pressure that having such a thing inside whilst doing so could exert is considerable. A dilator has a very definite shape to it and the profile is actually part of the therapy, so an egg shaped or ball shaped insert would not really be a good substitute. Besides when you dilate you have to move and stretch things in a definite way.
On balance my advice is, later on when healed for social fun yes. Early on, as some kind of imagined substitute for dilation definitely not!

Don't do it. Unless you are self lubricating and most of us are not, you will dry up fairly quickly, even with silicone based jubricants, and it will be a very painful extraction.

That just doesn't sound like a good idea. If you are not even post -op, aren't you kinda putting the cart ahead of the horse?
