I've posted a bit already but thought I'd better use my manners and introduce myself.
Hey my name is Liam. I'm 19, and on the verge of starting hrt. Out to everyone. Most people are cool with it except my bio dad who thinks i'm going to hell but at least I tried.
I trying my hardest to be rid my dysphoria, but I'm living in outback australia so there arn't any Trans support groups or PFLAG groups close by, so feeling the isolation alot. I'd be lucky if there was another FTM three towns over. So I hope Susan's can help a bit with that.
Looking forward to getting to know you all
Leeiam.

HI Leeiam
Welcome to Susan's. I'm sure you will soon find your feet and make friends with people here.
I can see how the isolation of the outback must make things difficult for you especially if your dad does not understand. Hopefully you will find a lot here that can help with that. Ironically, of course, many of us who transitioned in crowded towns and cities longed for the privacy and isolation that you have. Which I guess all just goes to show that there is no such thing as the perfect situation for transition.

Susan's is a very welcoming and friendly place where you can safely explore your feelings and learn from others on the same road.
Look forward to reading your posts.
Take care

Welcome aboard Liam, one of the admins will be along to give the official welcome, there is a lot of value here and a few Aussie girls and guys too.
I am in country Vic, so not as isolated as you, but still not too many trans folk around. Susan's Place is good value.
Cheers, Sandra.

Hi Liam, :icon_wave:
Welcome to our little family. Over 5600 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion.
Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams. Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.
But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another brother. :icon_hug:

Hugs and Love,
