Title: Greetings to everyone
Post by: mswinston1984 on August 19, 2010, 05:42:51 PM
Hello, I've come to this site today and I'd like to share experience with you although I don't have much to offer so far.
My name is Arthur, I'm 21 and come from Czechia.
I was born as a healthy ordinary boy, but that causes me the most problems in my life. I am not going through the transition at the moment. However, when I was 19 I told everyone who I considered to be close and I visited a therapist for the first time. Finally everyone tried to explain to me it was complete non-sense followed by words: You can never change the nature. There were a few friends who understood, despite this fact I stopped everything and the storm calmed down. Now everyone thinks I'm alright but I am not and I am going to start my transition and no more suffer. I want to become a real and no-one will stop me.
Thank you for being here

Welcome to Susan's! It's nice to meet you! :) Good for you for staying true to yourself. I'm sure, most, of them will understand, or at least still accept you once you trans :) Good luck!

Hello mswinston,

Welcome darling. There are lots of people here who have the same problems, the similar stories and the same despair, at times.

Guess what? You are a totally normal person. There is nothing to be ashamed of. If you identify as female guess what? You may be. I do not have a clue what support services you may have. Is there any access to gender therapists? Are there professional carers you can talk to? Sorry for being vague but I'm in Australia and many of the members are in the USA, UK, Europe, Asia, South America, Iceland, Scandinavia. India. Oh, we are all over the world, so maybe we are in fact normal. Just others don't always think or accept so.

Take care and read through the posts and ask questions. You are know never alone. You have a family that knows what your life is like.

Thank you very much for your support :) I am pleased to belong to this family.
Cindy, to reply to your question, I must say that TG care seems to be real good here. There are well known therapist with good reputation. I was even to visit one of them two years ago to start it all but as I have said I stopped to satisfy people around me.
Thank you once again, I will let know how it is going on. :)
