Hi Ze Ze

I have responded to another post of yours. I know what it means to have to transition. To do so in the Middle East and Saudi in particular must be hell. You are a very strong and brave woman. I will be here for you.  I have close friends both male and female who have worked in the Saudi University system, quite high up. I have an inkling of the response you face.
My feelings to you.

Please read the Terms of Service. You cannot change your profile until 15 posts.

Welcome. You are a brave woman to take the path to SRS in the Middle East.  It is a pity the rest of the region has not adopted the attitude in Iran re TS.  God willing it will all be well.

Sandra.

Hi Zeze,

Congratulations on ur dream coming true ...I am from Egypt and I hope u read my post under "marrying a transsexual" ,maybe u can help my transman( my future husband ) in his path to become a man ...she is a lesbian dressing and acting like a man ...in fact I am very worried about him ,coz it is very hard to get enough info about the procedures in our area. Can u help us ? how u got prepared for surgery ,where and how long it took u ? sorry if I asking a lot ,but I don`t want him to go for the operation for me ...it is a life changing step and we need to be sure he can do it .

I wonder if u ever asked elmofty or read if that kind of surgery is accepted in our religion or not ?plz excuse my question.

  Best of luck and enjoy

wow , i really admire your courage to take such steps in the mid-east . i know because i live in egypt . i was actually surprised when i read here that you live in ksa because , well , saudi is a lot more conservative than egypt and it's almost impossible here . i'm not sure how you managed to go so far in transition in your country and i'm really curious and really happy for you

good luck ^_^ and welcome to our forums friend zeze

ZeZe:

Hi!  Oh, my, welcome!

Transitioning in parts of the Arab World must be VERY difficult.  Our hearts go out to you.

We just moved to a new city about 4 months ago.  Know what?  Several of the people I'm meeting and befriending are ... Arabic!  One is Saudi.  The other is Lebanese.  I'm thinking of learning Arabic so I can talk to them in their language.  There is an Arabic food store very close to us.  I LOVE the food there and like the people too.  Very different.

If you are really going to fully transition, you may want to move to a more tolerant place.  Just a suggestion.  It's hard to leave your home.  Good luck!
