I just realized that my browbone is always going to look feminine!!! I've been on T for 5 months and I've been so happy with my changes but I couldn't figure out why my eye area hasn't really masculinized until my friend pointed out that the biological male browbone and biological female browbone are different! damn.

I know how to feel. I don't know if I'll ever be able to get facial surgery because srs is more important so I feel like my brow bone will always be ugly. And my nose. =/

Puberty last two years....you might be surprised at how much your browbone will not matter.
I am just jealous of the fact that you have started T....I just started my journey

also, i believe muscle/fat can be redistributed to your brow bone during the facial "refining" T does. give it time.

I don't know a whole lot about FtM HRT but I do know that the skin on your face will become thicker the longer you're on T which can really help with your brow. Just give it some time.

If all else fails and you're still unhappy with how your brow looks after you've been on T for a while longer, you CAN get a brow implant. So don't worry about it; you may find that your face looks just the way you want it to look with the HRT changes. And if not, you can get a little adjustment.

There's not really supposed to be significant amounts of muscle/fat on your brow.

I've never noticed much fat or muscle up there as basically there is nothing needing muscles although if we wrinkle our scalps there must be something to do the pushing and pulling.
Some men have very prominent brow humps but I haven't but I'm conscious of my forehead being quite flat and vertical and not the lovely smooth curve of a woman.
I did see some pix of guys who have had silicon injections with their tattoos and they have these patterns maybe 1/8 inch high but how long it lasts or costs or side effect I don't know but even 1/8 brow bumps would radically alter your looks.

Another thing I'd like to add, try not to worry about one part of your face, many men have feminine features but still look like men. I feel like I look a little feminine for someone who is born male, but I don't look like a girl. I'm clearly a boy (physically that is) Hormones, hair, presence and clothing and voice etc will help.

Quote from: lilacwoman on September 02, 2010, 02:56:56 AMOf course there is a need for muscles on our face. It's how we move our jaws and such. Bones don't do all the work, they're just the underlying structure. Like how a car starts with a frame, but in order to turn those wheels you need the guts or the muscle.

I just quoted myself. It's kind of odd.
