Post by: starrbaby on September 02, 2010, 09:14:39 AM
Hi im april and i have a fiance who was diagnosed with GID at the age of 6 he has lived his whole life hiding who he really is. Joined the military because his mom wanted him to. When i met him 8 months ago he told me of this and i accepted it and have been helping him in the transition to become the most wonderful woman ever... She is my whole world and i would do anything for her.

April, you are one wonderful human being!  May peace and happiness be yours.  What a wonderful world we could have if other people had your attitude and appreciate of what is really important in life.  Thank you for this most up-lifting comment.    ;)

Welcome to Susan's, starbaby.  :icon_flower:

There's a lot of good information and good people here.  Each of our stories is unique but we have a lot in common.  Settle in, pull up a keyboard, and explore.

Be sure to look under the Announcements heading.  There you will find the rules we live by in this little world of ours:

  • Site Terms of Service and rules to live by (https://www.susans.org/forums/index.php/topic,2.0.html)
  • Standard Terms and Definitions (https://www.susans.org/forums/index.php/topic,54369.0.html)
  • Post Ranks (including when you can upload an avatar) (https://www.susans.org/forums/index.php/topic,114.0.html.)
Look through the other stuff there, too.

How wonderful that you are together.  This is a difficult process, sometimes almost as difficult for those around us.  I wish you both luck.  Happy exploring. :icon_wave:

I apologize on behalf of the chat staff.  If she wishes to have her log back and look for me.  I am under the same name as here.
