Title: Going swimming
Post by: harlee on September 03, 2010, 09:11:55 PM
So summer is finally making its way to Australia! ;D And guess whose family just happened to get yearly pass tickets to three different theme parks - one of those being a water park  :o I only have one binder currently, and I have heard that chlorine can destroy them  :-\ So I was looking at that swim suit underworks offers. But I was also looking at reviews on that swim suit underworks offers, and they havent been all that positive :( Apparently it doesnt bind that well? But I only fit an A cup bra. Hmm, either way, Im gonna order something sometime soon. Do you think it would be better if I were to buy 2 more binders and use my current one for swimming under a shirt or something? Thing is, I kinda need it to last  :-X Or should I just go for the swimming stuff?

I have used my binders in both chlorinated and salt water and haven't noticed any rapid deterioration, but I cycle through 3 binders. But last summer I only had 1 or 2 and rarely cycled and they lasted about as long as any.

I've seen another swimsuit online, but there aren't any reviews yet: http://www.lesloveboat.com/shop/product_info.php?manufacturers_id=&products_id=117 (http://www.lesloveboat.com/shop/product_info.php?manufacturers_id=&products_id=117).  The same site also says that some of their binders (like this one: http://www.lesloveboat.com/shop/product_info.php?manufacturers_id=&products_id=124 (http://www.lesloveboat.com/shop/product_info.php?manufacturers_id=&products_id=124)) make good swim tops, so I'd imagine they can be worn under a dark T-shirt at a water park without being noticed and will hold up better than most other ones.

Id say just invest in another binder like the one you have. Use your older one for swimming under a rash guard and use the new one for everyday. The water, or type of water, really doesn't destroy them.
