Hey all, looking for some feedback from anyone here on what would be the best feminizing surgery's to get.
Here are my pics in /boy mode/ so u can see my mug without me trying to make it look nice :P! I dont think I look *too* old for 25. Been on HRT for only 5 weeks and I know I am yet to see most of the fat redistribution but going of my male frame I would love to know your advice.

my 2 cents
nose job, lower cheek implant and/or jaw work to round off (fatten?) the lower part of the face, and a trach shave
brow ridge is ok I think, eyebrows could use shaping
for extra spending of money, hair transplants to work on the line might help

Thanks Flan :) Yep Nose Job is on the top of my list, thinking jaw/chin work would be a close second!

You'll do well, there's not much you really need, just some minor work which you might not even need once the hormones have time to do their thing. I agree with Flan, brow ridge looks good. Hair transplants to lower/round the hairline a bit. As far as your jaw the profile looks really good I think. Chin in front view could be softened/rounded a little. I like your nose ;) they could always straighten and give it more balance overall though. The hormones are going to do a lot though I think, you might end up not even wanting that stuff!

you really need hair transplants. make those the first spending. fill out the male peak and let the new hair grow out and you face will look a whole lot different. then try to decide if further spending will be worthwhile.

All I see is the nose. Even your chin and jaw seems pretty fine to me. =) I also think you'll look really good pretty soon and I love you hair!

trach shave. maybe cheek implants.
Otherwise, let HRT do it magic.

Hi Jasmin,
I hate to suggest things, especially since you are very beautiful, and have such a wonderful face! You would be fine not doing anything, but since you asked ;) ... I was the same way, people thought I was crazy when I said I was doing FFS, but it made such a huge difference in my life, confidence-wise being foremost.
I'm just going to suggest a caveat... because you don't need any kind of brow ridge burrowing or major bone work on the forehead (IMO), if you go to look at getting a hairline lowering (IE scalp advance) ... don't! And don't get talked into it, lol, like certain aggressive surgeons are apt to do. Just do hair transplants like Lilac mentioned. The coronal cut they make for a scalp advance is a horrible thing, imo! The only reason I went forward with it, was because I was having forehead (bone) work being completed and they access that cut for both brow work and scalp advance. You don't need it, nor it's complications.
Trach shave, hair transplants (for a high hair line) and HRT and time should be all you need. Also maybe look at getting on DHT blockers, like finaesteride, if you are having hair loss, until at least your testosterone is way low. Your front profile is hard to evaluate though, as you have a tendency to hold your face down, so can't really tell if a lip lift would be beneficial.
Ohh, and jump on the Melan diet of ice cream, pizza and some other caloriousily-delightful stuff.. you are thin, girl! That will fill those jaws out.. or maybe just chew gum.. alot ... :P
Your side profile is smokin'!!!!
Good Luck!
Melan

I'll second what Janet said, "let HRT do it's magic" first.

Hey all thankyou heaps for all the replys!
My hair is no longer retreating into the older male pattern and in fact is having regrowth into a circular shape again! Lots and lots of small hairs where none were a month ago. Hopefully continues but looking good for growth at the moment so at worst I doubt it would be *too* expensive to have a small line of hair transplanted to bring it down a little bit if some people are paying for a full head.
I found a local (basically walking distance) plastic surgeon who is known for Tracheal Shaves and am going for a consult but will probably end up going the Thailand route as air fares are so cheap and its not a particularly complex procedure for someone who does it a lot and comes with a free holiday to boot!
The shave is the only surgery Ill consider till im 6 months in along with electrolyisis & maybe hair transplants when i find out prices, basically exactly what Melan recommended ;D Fingers crossed yall are right and hormones do some magic ;)

I think you have a face which works mostly both ways. Triangular shape, eyebrow part okay etc...
Maybe a trachea shave, maybe some work to soften your chinline - but better wait first what estrogen will do to you when the cheeks fill in etc.
Nose job will probably be necessary only for vanity, if at all. Wait to see what happens when the nose fills in with fat by estrogen.
You might very well end up resembling the females of my mom's family. They have very typed, adult-looking, mediterranean, a bit masculine but often beautiful and interesting facial features. With "a bit masculine", I mean a degree of masculinisation which is not the childlike Meg Ryan type, more like Tina Turner, the Greek-German singer Nana Mouskouri or the main actress of "My Big Fat Greek Wedding". Probably somewhat more masculine than the celebrities I mentioned, but I think your face will pass.
By the way, in the female mode pics, I noticed some minor details which are not beneficial for your passing in my opinion. Your hair is somewhat messy (like stormy weather), and the black-with-metal-thingies-top is somehow not a very good choice, but I can't give you any good constructive advice what to do about it.

In my opinion, the brow looks OK right now only because the nose bridge has not been feminized yet. When the bridge of the nose gets trimmed so that it starts at the recessed point between the eyes, the moderate prominence of the brow will become more obvious. So I think you should focus on nose and brow. I suggest you take an enlarged profile pick and cut out the part of the nose that is going to be trimmed so you can see if you think the brow is not so bad.
I don't see any picks of you with your mouth open and your upper lip slack, so I can't see how much, if any, of your upper teeth show. If the teeth don't show, then the FFS surgeons will recommend an upper lip lift.
Cheeks and jaw are not necessary, IMO, but if you are made of money, why not. Still, I'd wait until HRT has some effect so the surgeon can get a better idea of how it is likely to settle out. But the brow, nose, and upper lip will probably not change much on HRT.

I'm with the give HRT a chance crowd... If you still think you need to do some stuff after a year on HRT then maybe that is the time to make those choices... Plus you'll have plenty of funding saved up for either that or other things :)

I don't think there's anything wrong with your nose. It's not like a model's nose or anything but there's really nothing male about it. My nose is actually pretty much an exaggerated version of yours but I've actually had a lot of compliments on it. I hated it for the longest time (and still am not exactly 'happy' with it) but I figure I'd be removing most of what gives my face character along with it if I ever got it done. But if you're really wanting to go all out then that's fine too. Just don't think it looks bad enough to 'need' anything done to it.

Well, most surgeons will discuss options for you, they have an expert eye I think. If you send pics to someone like Suporn in Thailand (there site gives directions on what pics they need) they can give you suggestions to what facial surgery they could do for you. Suporn does rather subtle work in my opinion, which is great. You don't come out of it looking like you have had facial surgery, but then most surgeons probably are pretty good about this now, as long as you choose someone reputable.
Might as well get it all done at once, as recovery is a bitch for face surgery I reckon, particulalry bone work.
But I think hormones should fill out your lower face more which will make a difference. I think being a little gaunt in the lower face detracts from your femininity.
See how the mones go. Other memebers had rather square chins too, but they came out looking great after hormones.
I think you could do a lot without surgery, so my suggestions are:
Get a hair cut with layers that frame your face better, run some irons through it to get it nice and straight. It seems a bit unkept for what you see on most girls. You have probably been growing it ages. You could go with really strong bangs, straight accross. That would look fierce but needs a bit of upkeep. Or leave them longer in layers.
Also you could shape your brows a little more, maybe go slightly thinner,
Go easy on the eyeliner, go a bit more subtle I reckon, like line just a third or so of the outside corner, or go with a lighter shade. Your eyes look nice and big as it is, I think they are a great feature, but a bit of eyeshadow blended into a lighter shade on your brow bone will really make them pop!, even a little color on the lower lid to line it, again maybe just the outer third, but have a play, I'm no expert. Get a lesson. My lesson was one of the best things I ever did. I just asked help doing a simple day to day look and it made all the difference, and it is easy to play from there.
Best of luck honey! I think you are gonna be gorgeous! You already do have a super girly profile, love it.
