We live in frightening times. In New York they are building an Islamic cultural center (or "victory/death mosque") based on the YMCA. Have you ever been inside the locker-room in a YMCA? All this so-called "cultural center" is doing is providing me with yet another place where I can accidentally see some old guy's junk — and that terrifies me.
But the real people we need to be afraid of are divorcees. They are destroying the very moral fabric of this country. Our Founding Fathers didn't get divorced! They bought slaves and had sex with them, but they didn't get divorced! And that's important.

What's interesting is rescuemarriage.org was borne out of one man's intolerance against the same sex marriage opponents. That man, John Marcotte, is both straight and married. Instead of fighting the prejudice the usual way, he took it on by pushing the "traditional values" proponent's case - we have to save marriage by stopping same sex marriage - to the next step: end divorce.
If the traditional values coalitions were truly concerned about saving marriage they would also try to put a stop to the most destructive act against the institution of marriage - DIVORCE! But we all know this would never fly with the general public and Marcotte is just trying to bring to light the absurdity of same sex marriage ruining opposite sex marriage.
I first became aware of this last year. Marcotte got some press at the time but, like anything that isn't frequently bumped to the front of people's minds, the concept lost steam. Now it seems Stephen Colbert is reviving it.
If it gets enough exposure and picks up enough steam, this could be really fun to watch.
