Title: extended unpleasantness.

for those of you who are on/were previously on T, how much did it affect your cycles? i am fully aware that your period will drop off entirely after some time, but the change isn't immediate. the reason i ask is that i had just started around the time of my last shot, and i'm still going. my uterus seems to have adopted energizer bunny characteristics and just keeps...going... (rather intermittently and quite lightly, but still...going.)
it seems highly plausible to me that i am massively hormone imbalanced at the moment and my body is having difficulty adjusting. still, the wary part of me was inclined to ask if anyone had experienced anything similar.

My last period was the week after i started T and it lasted really long, over a week. I haven't had another one since.

I got my first shot on monday, and I unfortunately got my period on wednesday, I am hoping it will be my last one. It normally lasts 7-8 days, hopefully this one wont be extra long.

Not on T yet though, so I can't comment on my experiences with that. I think it's actually good that your body is getting rid of what's there because it'd suck if it just kept building up layers in there :o. Hopefully it's the final clean out (for lack of a better term) ;D.

Meh it'll all be over soon eh? I keep telling myself "okay, THIS'LL be the last time" >:(. As for my mum, she got hers at 10 :o so I guess I should be thankful for my 15.

Yeah it sucks in general in my opinion :(. I've known a lot of girls that got theirs around 4th grade and apparently the onset of it is getting earlier and earlier (saw an article in Time mag saying that it's about 7 or 8 now). Knowing some of the world's youngest mothers (Edit: not personally of course :o), it could get a whole lot younger as well :( I dunno maybe I'm just being dramatic, but I think it sucks butt.
I remember seeing in my psych textbook that girls who go through puberty earlier than average have a harder time afterwards mentally and the same goes for guys who go through a later than normal puberty. I think the worst case scenario is going through the WRONG puberty, but there I go being biased again ::).
