So I was just wondering if anybody here had a favorite brand and/or fit of jeans.  Be interesting to see what everybody wears and maybe get some new ideas for passing.

I personally got to go with :

BRAND - Abercrombie & Fitch

FIT - Really anything but usually skinny or slim straight

I like A&F becuase their jeans really are good quality without them being waaaaaaay expensive. Though they're still very overpriced.  That's why I don't have a lot, lol.  :P

I don't typically wear jeans ... I have never really liked them.

I usally wear cargo shorts or cargo pants.  I like union bay brand.

I like Union Bay cargo pants too.  They do have a good fit and they're very comfortable.

I generally get Levi jeans, particularly the Loose Straight fit.  They're super comfy, they last a long time, and the fact that they're looser means they accommodate/hide my hips a little better.

I like Levi too, but I gotta ask, do they seem like their cut on the small side in the waist to you?  Because to me I seem to always but them like 2 in. bigger then I do others.  Have you noticed that?

I wear BKE, Carter fit. They're very comfortable and amazingly soft for jeans.

I've got a pair of faded glory pants, but it's because they only cost $9.  I'm going to try to get Levi next, but I have this major issue with guy pants--they're either too short and fit my waist/hips just fine or they're the right length but way too big for the hips/waist.  I didn't think I'd have this issue with guy pants, but I do--the stupid issue follows me no matter that style.

Lukas - just find a pair that fit you in the waist/hips, then if they're too short, get the same pair with the same waist size but a longer inseam. It's easiest to shop for men's jeans in stores that are laid out with the jeans folded in little cubbies in the wall, sorted by style and waist size, rather than the ones that just have them hanging on a rack, because you can just go back to the same cubby and grab a pair with a longer inseam if you need it.

I couldn't find any that had the same waist and the longer inseam, though.  Granted I was trying for cheap pants.  I'm hoping Levi will have a better selection because I'd like a proper pair of pants--though the ones I have aren't too bad, I just like having the end of my pants touching the ground.  It could also be that Wal-Mart just as a horrible selection (lol).

Wal-Mart has a terrible selection. They're also terrible pants that fit badly and wear out ridiculously fast. You'll spend far less, in the long run, on Levi's. And they have a much better selection, if you actually go to a Levi's store .

Department stores can be troublesome, they try to stock the most common sizes in the most popular styles of 8-10 different brands, so if you're hard to fit you can have trouble. Discount stores like Ross and Marshall's have the opposite problem - they have a lot of odd sizes, but not necessarily the one you want. Cheap stores like Wal-Mart, Target, and K-Mart have a variety of sizes, but each style only comes in a limited range of sizes (so they'll have one style/brand made for fat people, one for tall people, one for short skinny people...) But a brand outlet store, like an actual Levi's or American Eagle or the like, will typically have each of their brand's current styles in just about any size configuration a non-obese adult human can exist in.

Thank you for the information!  I'll have to make a run to the outlet mall here--they have stores dedicated to just American Eagle or Levis.  And the pants are generally cheap, but hold out well.  Worse comes to worse I'll just get some cargo shorts. xD

You know I never heard of BKE before you but I just checked them out and they have some pretty awesome stuff! I think I might order some tess and jeans from them. Thanks man!  ;D

Well, I don't have many jeans anymore, gave most of them away and replaced them with boy jeans :p
The most comfy one I have is just The Sting's own brand. If I go for looks, it'd either be Levi's Red Tab or G-star :) But G-star has cruddy quality.
I only wear slim jeans as I haven't found a nice skinny. Would like a blue Thin Finn nudie but too expensive :p plus they're only selling them in black and I already have two black jeans xD

~Checks button on pants~  My favorite pants are by Faded Glory, and are either straight legged or bootcut.  I need to get some more like this.  I also got some black cargo pants by Aeropostle recently.  (Got them from a second-hand store because I'm poor, lol)  They're actually women's pants I think, but the way they fit minimizes my hips and thighs so I do like them.

I like Mossimo Supply Co and A[X]ist.  For the most part I don't really care about the 'style' or 'fit' of jeans, as long as they're not skinny jeans, I'll wear them.

I'm not to picky about my jeans. I try them on and if i like them, i get them. Most of mine are from american eagle, Hollister, Abercrombie, & Pacsun. they all seem to fit well.

Buckle/BKE is my favorite store, before I discovered them I shopped at Pac Sun.

I tend to shop more by brands than stores. So, here are some of my favorite brands, if you Google them you should get the stores that they're sold at: BKE, Pop Icon, Element, Roar, Volcom, O'Neill.

They're 'skater' brands, Pop Icon is my preferred shirt company - the shirts are in the $50USD range but they'll last you several years.

If you like BKE, check out Buckle.com's "Style Shop" tab - find an outfit you like, click it and it'll give you the items that make it up. I use it to check out new brands that I like.

social collision from hot topic (the "rude fit") seems to fit me pretty well. other than that i just try on stuff and whatever fits and looks good is it.

I just bought a pair of relaxed boot cuts from Route 66 from K-Mart.  They fit me really well and they had my size!  Yay!

I'm not FTM; I'm a cisgendered male. But, yeah, when I wear jeans, which is rare because I can't stand them, I pay no regard to the brand name and I wear them loose. Not like "hanging a foot down the waistline, exposing half of my boxers" loose, but just loose.

I mostly wear Express "Zach" fit, which are extra slim, straight fit. Most of my clothes are from there or American Eagle or Abercrombie. I guess you would say I'm a bit preppy. I also have a few pairs of Arizona slim straights and I like them a lot too. Plus I only paid like $25 bucks for them at Penny's lol.

i like the "bragg" style H&M jeans - it's fitted waist straight leg. and i have a pair of broken twill wrangler jeans which are the best jeans i ever bought. then i have semi-skinny black jeans i got at forever.

to those wearing 501s: how do wear those without looking as though you had huge hips? i have no noticeable hips in most jeans, but in 501s i'll look like an overfed sea cow. Is it because i try to wear them kinda like low-waist jeans which they're not? i feel like the only place in which they're tight sits on the widest part of my hips, and then they're really loose around my butt and thighs.

All of my jeans right now are bullhead Dillon skinny. I should try American eagle, I just don't like the idea of shopping there.

If you don't mind me asking; why don't you like the idea of shopping there?  It doesn't have anything to do with the way they treat LGBT is it?? Because I always heard that they were extremely LGBT positive.  :(

American Eagle jeans are the only ones I own, cuz I can't find anything else that has 28x28 or 26x28. I haven't looked that hard, but, lol... I do also have 2 pairs from H&M but they are super long on me and I have to get them hemmed.

I wear any fit jeans. Whatever's cheapest there, like sales n'stuff. I'd just wear levi's if they made a waist smaller than a 29. I really don't care about brand :/

Honestly, I don't like shopping in general and going into the places that advertise using uber-masculinity (a&e, hollister, aber/fitch) because I get self-conscious. It's got nothing to do with the store itself.
