Title: Phantom organs... feeling a lost limb?
Post by: Gia on October 05, 2010, 02:24:37 PM
One thing the aggravates me is feeling two bladders and what happens next.

A phantom basically is something that seems like every way possibly physical, but not to someone. It may actually be physical somehow or at some time, yet not ordinary enough.

A person that still senses their amputated limb is an example of such anomaly.

I sense bodily functions yet then check and it's like those functions didn't happen (or maybe happened on some other physical level).

It feels like a molested reality. It's so hard to get others to understand this. It's like feeling you pissed your clothes and feel the wetness, yet check and nothing happened. It's like you got to constantly think.. "ok, worry about this and not this."

I don't you can classify that as gender dysphoria. Maybe gender euphoria. Who else can relate?

I'm not intersex, but I'm posting here anyway, if you all don't mind.

Anyway, more or less, I have a phantom penis (in fact, there's an entire topic about it in the FtM transsexuals section). I used to feel it more often, lately, however, it only happens a few times a week or so. I'm not sure why. Anyway, my phantom penis can feel hard and what not, but then I look and there's nothing. And yes, I would compare it to feeling like you pissed yourself and then seeing that there's nothing there.

Gender euphoria, on the other hand, no. I consider it more of gender dysphoria because the moment I realize it's not physically there, it causes dysphoria.

Someone gets dysphoria caused a thought that something is not there; just to rephrase how i listened to this.

Why not have everything ever said to you translated into something beautiful to listen to. Same language yet this beautifies the moment. Follow?

Least we can well only have to think about it to remember molested realities. A horse with no name.

They don't get why no.

Wow, only just saw this post. I too experience phantom... well, feelings that I've wet myself, quite vividly, rushing to the bathroom and checking and not a drop.

But then I also have a lot of moments where I doubletake because my boobs have gone, or something is in the way of my fingers down below. It's hard to explain to other people, but knowing others go through the same thing is nice to know.

Edit: ah, sorry for necroposting, I failed to realise the above poster was a bot.
