Title: How to position your junk and keep it in place
Post by: notyouraverageguy on October 06, 2010, 01:48:11 AM
I've been looking for some info on "harnesses" and haven't really found anything to my liking. I've seen a lot of ways for guys to pack but it seems like no one packs with a stp packer. So I was wondering if any of you guys wear an stp packer, if so how do you keep it in place.
I used to just throw it in my boxer briefs but I've been really self conscious about my bulge so I want it to be very subtle and not so noticeable. So im trying to find a way to hold it in place clost to me but not against my skin.
Any ideas/advice/suggestions?

What about underwear with pouches? Is that the kind of thing you're after? If so, check out tranzwear or just google pouch underwear (if you're willing to shell out some cash :o). Also, socks are a decent way of holding them in place and you can modify them to be able to use an STP.

I was thinking maybe underwear with a pouch. I've seen tranzwear, idk.
Would they just be like jock/cup type of undies?

They've got a few different designs. I remember a guy on here recommending them, but I haven't personally tried them. As for the jock/cup type, do you mean as in positioning or design? The pouched underwear I see from designers aren't exactly like jocks I don't think, however they're made to enhance your junk. Andrew Christian has a good video and diagram on his pouch underwear called "Show-it". It's basically an open pocket. For the tranzwear thing, some designs aren't the greatest for STPs, but apparently the ones with the C-ring are really good for that. The snuggler and the floater are more contained are harder to access (by my understanding), but I guess you can always modify that as well. So check out those Andrew Christian and tranzwear because their pictures might show you better than how I'm explaining .

Edit: Here's an actual video of an FTM guy using a packer with the Show-It boxers. Liam's FTM Packer Show and Tell: Video 6 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6TDsmjm8bu8#) (I hope he doesn't mind D:)

Hey I've seen that video before, thanks for that.
I've heard of those underwear too, hmm maybe undewear with a pouch would work best with an stp packer?
Well I shall gather up some funds to test them out.
Im thinking maybe Andrew Christians, or ill try Target haha.

I haven't gotten an STP yet (keep putting it off), but you're asking for a lot. You want to keep it in place, minimize the bulge, not have the STP against your skin, but be able to "hook it up"--put it against your skin--at will?

I love TranZwear for my packy. One reason I haven't gotten an STP is that I'm not sure how I would wear the thing. I don't see a good way to use the Snuggler or the Floater with an STP, and I don't think the Commando would work. But the Natural might work if you leave the ball portion out of the little pouch--that is, next to your skin. Or maybe you could trim away some of the pouch--but that would leave more of the STP in contact with your skin.

The owner once said he was working on an STP design. I don't know what happened to that--maybe people are just using the Natural.

Is the floater design basically just like the cock-sock but sewn onto the underwear? The site tends to be kind of vague about designs (understandable with copycats around) so their descriptions are exactly as good as a picture would be. If it's like the cock-sock but sewn on, can't you modify a slit in the back and a hole in the front for STP use?

Oh yeah and Femboy, if you live in the states, you can sign up for the Andrew Christian newsletter for a chance to get a 500 or 400 dollar gift certificate and they'll send you emails when they're having secret sales :) definitely helps considering how pricey they are.

I think the mens underwear with a pouch will fit my needs, without getting a prosthetic. It'll keep it close to me yet off my skin.

And thanks for that info Meepit :)

No worries :). I know how hard it is to find mainstream gear that works for us. Hope it works out, I'd love to get a pair, but I need a credit card first ::). You ought to do another one of your reviews, I'd be interested in the results ;D.
