I'm young and never plan on having children. However, I would like to have the option in the future. Does anybody know how long you can be on HRT prior to freezing the sperm? I've been on get for about a month and I found a local sperm bank that does it for 300 dollars a year. Should have the money in about 2 weeks then I'll do it right away. Should I be fine?

it shouldn't matter when as long as you aren't infertile from antiandrogens, the lab will do a mobility/quality check before putting them in freeze.
a couple months is usually the stop point, after that you'll have to reduce or stop spiro to regain sperm count.

As the last poster said, when you make a deposit they will check it for quality, then you will find out pretty fast if it will work. I made my deposits just prior to starting HRT. The clinic said typically one has to make about 3-4 deposits to fill a full sample, at this clinic it was 30 straws. $300 sounds expensive. I paid $300CDN for the initial deposit and then $120 a year after in storage fees. Good luck!
