Title: Advice?
Post by: M_is_for_Something on October 15, 2010, 05:54:32 PM
I think I'll start transitioning soon, pretty nervous about that...

So, I'd like to buy a binder from T-Kingdom. I'm not all that large in that respect (thank GOD), but they still piss the hell out of me. I saw one that looks great, this one: http://www.t-kingdom.com/shopping/english/page801_english.shtml (http://www.t-kingdom.com/shopping/english/page801_english.shtml) but it costs like 60 US dollars and I'd like some input before I buy it. Has anybody else had this, and did it work well for you? Was it comfortable? Etc.

Thanks for any input.

I don't have any experience with T-Kingdom but I figured I would mention Underworks which has a specific section for FTM just in case you hadn't heard of them.

I just recently ordered a binder and from what I've read on both sites, underworks is a lot cheaper than T-kingdom. It seems a lot of people on here like underworks better than T-kingdom.

Yeah Underworks is a lot cheaper, I have the tri-top from Underworks & it's great.

I have that one; the zipper makes it incredibly easy to get into.  It does seem pretty overpriced for how thin the material is, but it's very comfortable and I wear it most often.  Doesn't flatten you as much as the Underworks stuff does, but I'm kinda big up top, so YMMV.  I'm not sure if it's lost some of its binding ability already or my expectations have changed or I just should have gotten a smaller size in the first place, though.
