Improved protection and resources for victims of bullying in Minnesota schools may be on the horizon.
State Sen. Scott Dibble and State Rep. Jim Davnie, DFL-Minneapolis, have reintroduced an anti-bullying measure to be considered during the upcoming special legislative session. A similar bill was passed with bipartisan support in 2009, but was vetoed by Gov. Tim Pawlenty.
