Title: binding for those large in chest
Post by: Electric Wizard on October 31, 2010, 11:44:22 PM
One of the main problems I am going to have trying to pass is my boobs. I hate them and wish for them gone. Until that can happen, though, I will need to bind if I expect to pass. Binding is an issue because I have double-D's and they cannot be concealed in any normal fashion. I don't think I can bind like most people do, they're too big and I would either not be hiding them, or it would be unsafe since my chest will be unable to expand for breathing. Has anyone else dealt with this problem? What can be done?

I don't know if you've ever tried using two sports bras and layering before. My boobs are a medium size but I have breathing problems so anything that makes it so I can't breathe won't work for me.

I usually use two bras that are slightly smaller than my size but are comfortable enough and are breathable, and layer them with a wife beater and either a button up or flannel. I can't say it works for everyone, but if you haven't tried this method, it could be worth it.  I hope it helps.

Good luck on this!

I'm not quite as large as you, but I have had some luck with pushing them up and out to fill in more where the pecs are.

Coming from someone who is (I think) a D cup, I've run into similar problems.  I have a Tri-Top from Underworks, which doesn't work perfectly, but definitely does enough that I feel a lot more confident with my passing. When your a larger size, any flattening you can get with safe methods is a great start..I'd suggest considering a binder of some sort, even if it doesn't work as perfectly as it would for someone smaller.

I'm a bit larger than you but I tend to go with the underworks 997. It fills in the gap between chest and waist that I have making it look a bit smoother. Plus, it binds my big hips. Wearing stiff fabrics, layering, and wearing busy patterns all help in concealing a large chest.

I have DDs. I can not get them any where near flat. So I'm changing the rest of my body so they look more proportionate. I used to try really hard to be thin, but thin just does not work for me. Now I'm doing the opposite. Fill out, especially your biceps and triceps. If you get your arms big then it will distract from the extra you have in the chest.

Wow, I feel silly for not thinking of that, Sharky. :x

It's ok, it took me awhile too.
