This is a completely random post, and feel free to ignore it. I just wanted to say that I'm off to go shop for guys clothes, and it's the first time in my life I've been excited about buying clothes.
Just thought I'd share the joy

Overall, a successful evening. Oddly enough, the first thing I bought was an argyle sweater vest and dress shirt. I have never been a fan of argyle, but ends up I look damn good in it!
Two things I noticed: First, I hate having hips. I don't think they even make mens pants that will fit over my hips. Second, I love the shoulders in mens shirts. I have wide shoulders and have never really fit into girls tops.

I love shopping! Now, anyway. I despised it prior to my starting to transition. But now I actually wear colors other than black, and I look forward to getting dressed and going outside.
Regarding men's pants, try 'relaxed' and 'loose' fit, they have more room for larger hips/thighs. It may take some time and experimenting to find the cuts that work for you. I had a lot of luck with Old Navy for that. I could never wear women's pants, they were never comfortable and never fit right, so I was always stuck in skirts. Meh. I've found way more latitude with men's pants.
