Any feel this way being trans sometimes....??? That somehow we just need to accept not having "stars" on our belly??
Well trying for 25 years proves I at least can't, but I still feel its an interesting metaphor :)

While The Sneetches (http://www.amazon.com/dp/0394800893/) does have interesting parallels,
e.g. the charlatan running the star-on and star-off machines and the medical establisment, there are major differences.
We're not doing this for any status reason or to be trendy.
Moreover, most of us will be satisfied running through just one machine once!
