I have been on this site now for nearly 2 months. I have enjoyed all of your company nearly everyday. I have nothing to hide. My name is Patty. I am reluctant to give up the name Mrs. Erocse though for several reasons. When my children were growing up I got called Mrs. Erocse. I was incredibly flattered and I really liked it. I have been Erocse's wife for the majority of my life and am proud of that too. I also know that you all know me as Mrs. Erocse.  I am Patty though. I don't know if I want to change Mrs. Erocse or not. I guess I like it. Erocse said I may wish to develope my own persona seperate from hers. I can't imagine why. I would feel alone. I may sign off on a letter as Patty. Thanks again everybody for making me feel comfortable here.

Hi Patty.  I have avoid calling you by your name for privacy,  But now I can.  But don't give up the Mrs. as we know you as that.  ;D

Patty you brighten up the place no end and help to inject a note of calm and serene acceptance into this community. You are one of those whose posts almost always make me smile and whom I look forward to reading comments from.

The two of you are so obviously well matched that I can't imagine either of you without the other. Moreover Alison and I both admire the way that you have both adapted to the changes in your relationship.

I still hope that one day Alison may decide to join our community in her own right but at present she feels that having almost single handedly run the UK self-help group for about five years in the 1980's she has had her fill of such things, so for now I speak for us both.

Either way know that you are a much loved member of our family

Thank you for sharing your name with us. I much prefer to think of you as Patty than some ones Mrs.
(oh and my middle name is Patricia, Patty was the name I had planed on ussing for some time)

You are right, Cynthia.  But I also think that Erocse had mentioned it in one of her posts.  But no matter, we can now call Patty as Patty or Mrs. Erocse.    ;D

but unlike many I didn't get to choose the names because as I originally transitioned rather younger they were picked by my mum (with a little input form me) so she would not have the embarrassment of calling her cross dressed son James when we were out together.

Thanks everyone. My whole name is Patricia S. I never sign with Patricia unless it is business or I am mad. I never use Pat because it is mannish and a 4th grade teacher I disliked called me that all the time.
Janet Lynne I enjoyed meeting with you and hope we will have the opportunity to spend more time together on other occasions. I would like to meet Lacy Lynne someday too.
I am certain if we all got together at a party it would be a grand event. :).

Erocse did use my name on posts you are observant. I did not notice Janet Lynne did, though it matters not really.

Hey Patty. 

Nice to know you by name.  You're such a warm and friendly person, and I enjoy reading your posts.  Are you sure you want to put your full name in a public area here?  Unless you edit your post to delete it, it'll come up whenever someone googles your name for at least the next 10 years.  Even if you put it in a private section, it can come up in a Google search - people will be able to see the site and the title of the post, just not the post itself.  Conversely, giving out your full name makes it easy for anyone who visits this site to find you offline.  While this site is full of good people, there is always that "you never know" factor.  I just want you to be safe.

O.k. I took your advice Alexmakenoise.. I am not afraid of being found here. I think the people I feared most found me here already and were pretty destructive of what I wished to preserve. So that being said I am proud to be found among such a smart, considerate, hard working people. Perhaps there could be some even crazier destructive people and I should protect my family so I will take your advice.

Annette you are one of the reasons that I felt I wanted to post my name. You suggested you had no enemies and only friends and that you did. I admired you for that. I do have that job, but have only been called in two times as a substitute :(. I like it very much though. Thank you for inquiring.

Has any one person or any couple been so readily and so vehemently accepted into our family here at Susan's Place?  Though I'm a relative newbie myself (This website has actually been around for quite a while!), I can scarcely imagine anybody who has been more beloved and done so more quickly than Mrs. Erocse ... ditto that for The Erocses as a couple.   

Good God Almighty, what a wonderful world this would be if more people were like YOU, Patty, and more couples were like THE EROCSES.  More on that in a mo'.

Like unto the red and white Coca-Cola emblem, like McDonald's golden arches, like Disney's Mickey Mouse: You have established a trademark of protean power and instaneous appeal at Susan's Place ... Mrs. Erocse ... without even trying to ... just by being your wonderful self.  You've hit the grand-slam home run in the bottom of the ninth in the seventh game of The World Series here at Susan's Place to win the championship, allegorically-speaking, honey!  Mrs. Erocse it is ... for me anyway ... the others may address you as they see fit!

Anybody willing to meet Loopey Lacey live and in person is the very epitome of tolerance and compassion.  What is it now, like 4 or 5 aborted attempts at Starbucks?   None of them were your fault.  Persistence!  We'll do it sometime soon.  The pleasure will be mine, I assure you!    ;)

I have not been around for a while as my family, work, training and studies have consumed most of my spare time.  However I have followed you're posts with great interest.  I have always addressed people how they would like to be addressed even to the correct pronunciation of those names.  How can I not do so?  When many years ago, I said to my family, this is how I would like you to address me and I will not answer to anything else.

So in a sense you have provided a dilemma, I always address people according to their username because it ensures that their privacy is always maintained.  So how would you like to be addressed, being mindful of privacy and your own personal preference?

On a personal note, thank you very much for your insights, understanding, compassion and support that you have provided.  With these traits, you are truly one beautiful and remarkable human being.

I think you also only have friends.
when people approached with warmth and respect, you get what you give, even if sometimes critical, as long as it is honest and from your heart there is no problem.
I use my own name because in  a previous life  I had to play a role. Now I am free and I do not have to hide anymore.
why not, I have never hurt anyone, I never commited a crime, I was only born in the wrong gender,this is not something to be ashamed of, isn't it ?

And two nice ladies such as you are certainly no need to hide
So, be more than welcome in the world of the free people
Friendly and warm  people like you are makes the difference in, sometimes, a cold world.
I think reason the more to be proud who and what you are.
And  if my English isn't correct, please forgive me, I'll try very hard to improve it but it's meaned as a compliment for your courage.

I was thinking of having a post in the Mod area, which is restricted to staff, but on reflection I decided to go public; and change the post.

There people on this site who have terrible problems, deal with them and continue to love and support. There are those who have overcome their problems and stay and support. There are those who are so depressed and down hearted that we post to keep them alive. There are those who like to insult and attack; we ban them. There are those who are just cruel; we ban them. There are those who just need the help of a friend; we love them. Then there is Mrs Erocse, Patty, and her lovely partner Erocse, and the gorgeous daughter, a very lucky woman to have such parents. Since you started posting I think the hate and nasty posts have dropped, I wouldn't mind Forum Admin to check this while he sits examining the fluff in his navel ( :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*N).

I think you have generated good feelings.  You have generated hope to those who have little.  I think you have demonstrated with your love for each other, and for all of us, that it is possible that humanity exists.

I don't want to to embarrass you, but you have made this site better for your presence.

I will be honest. I am not as suportive of Sevans transition as Patty is to Erocse.
It is very dificult sometimes showing suport to a trans spouse who one knew prior to the transition.
Yet I knew around month 2 that Sevan had a GID issue. (To be honest it was the fact that Sevan also had GID that sealed the deal. I was madly in love when we fell but when I discovered we shared this pain.....I latched on.)

I know that many of us here at Susan's do not use are really names for varies reasons.
I hope by sharing your real name that no harm will come to you.
No mater what you call yourself I know you as a kind, gentle and caring women.
Who first and foremost loves her mate and yet is so willing to reach out to others.
I am so thankful that you and Erocse have chosen to come here and share your hearts and lives with us. 
For that I am very grateful. Yes as other have said you two make Susan's a much nicer place.

Millieb isn't my real name either, I have been toying with using my real name for some time now as Millie is better known than I am these days and somrtimes it's a bit weird.

The turning point I think has been on a dating site that I have been experimenting with because there is a new, absolutley smoking hot, gorgeous 20 year old trans girl on the site, her name? Milliec!! I feel as though I've been replaced with a newer model and am now obsolete!!!  :'( :'(

I'm only joking and realising that this can be a surprisingly small worldwide community Miilec, if you read this, love ya! You're stunning! ;)

Anyways the point of all of this drivel is that I really enjoy reading your stuff (and Erocse) and whatever name you use, I hope that you continue as an active part of this little family :)

Thank you everyone for your exceedingly kind compliments and extention of friendship. I feel so undeserving of so much that you have given. I am just me and I am here. All of you have shared, your lives and information and made the world so much more open to me and others. It is really important what you do. I believe that only by doing this will the road be paved for acceptance in the world. It is such a difficult road with so many pot holes. I do see that from posts such as Lacey Lynne's, the road has vastly improved in recent years.  Yet more obviously needs to be done to advance the understanding of ->-bleeped-<-.

Again thank you all for your warm acceptance. I have never been as readily and nicely accepted anywhere in my life as here. This just assures me all the more of what a sincere, and wonderful group of people you are.
