Title: Surgery Procedure

I'm having surgery on January 13th with Dr. Garramone. I am getting more and more nervous as the time comes closer. I was wondering for those of you who have had surgery already, did it make you nervous walking into the operating room. I'm not really stoked on hospitals and such and I've never had any sort of surgery before. What is it like being put under? Was it nerve racking walking into the OR?

Even though I was excited, I was nervous as well. Although they wheeled me on a gurney from the prep room to the waiting room, and from there into the OR. Going under was a little uncomfortable when they put the mask on and told me to breathe deeply. I felt like I couldn't get enough air, and struggled for a moment but they were very patient and soothing with me and I relaxed. And then, I was waking up in the recovery room.
